Nervous for tomorrow. Think the atmosphere will be edgy. Looking at our season now we have suffered from predictable tactics and an unwillingness to change from the manager. He says our players need to enjoy their football but following them home and away it is obvious to see they are not and this has to be down to the way they are asked to play. Jagielka is never going to be a ball playing centre back barkley is never going to be a winger and aiden mcgeady is never going to be a premiere league footballer as examples. We need to play tolukakus strenghts to get the best out of him or we shouldn't have spent 28 million on him, if I was lukaku I would be so frustrated this season. The only benefit of the doubt I will give to martinez is we have had a huge amount of injuries but so have other clubs in the league. The question kenwright needs to ask himself now is, is martinez the right man to move out osman distain howard gibson pienaar alcaraz hibbert etc and build a new squad. We have the basis of a good young team in stones garbutt barkley coleman besic lukaku etc but we need to build on it. If we survive this season then then we still need to consider robertos position, I was a massive fan last season but unfortunately I think he is a one trick pony.

Wholly agree, no matter the result on Monday (really need the points), Roberto has surely shot his bolt and shown like Moyes going to Man Utd, that when faced with a different level (due respect to Wigan) he just has not got it.

Yep spot on! i'm not usually one for stats but we are a couple of points worse off Than Wigan were the season they went down. The powers that be must be able to see what's going wrong? Although there has been a little improvement as of late i'm still worried about being just two points from the drop zone.

Totally agree Sean, I am dreading tomorrow night, let's hope the lads give it 100% and give us a result.

get a real feeling tomorrow Pulis / WBA will come to spoil and frustrate and get the fans quiet!

One thing is guaranteed for Monday night and that is Tony Pulis knows Everton need the 3 points and will set WBA up to stop this.
WBA saw fit to change their manager recently by appointing Pulis to replace Alan Irvine. Unless there are unknown reasons why they did this, then it must be that they were not prepared to be caught in a relegation scramble again.
If Everton don't get the points tomorrow then Bill Kenwright has to make a big decision. The compensation to sack Martinez will be less than losing the TVs money should relegation be the consequence. Obviously Bill doesn't want to sack him because he made the appointment, but he can hold his hands up and say" I made a mistake".
