Quick question to all our posters.
I'm pretty sure I know which of you was against the appointment of RM from day one - and I also acknowledge that you take no joy in taking an "I told you so" attitude since our club is in difficulties.
What I'd like to know is which of you have, like me, now changed from RM-fans to RM-critics.

Guilty

I was sceptical at first then fell for his after last season. Not a fan at all now, feel like I was sold a Ferrari but got a Robin Reliant instead.

I have not been r m biggest fan. but results don't lie. Just seen on one site that he is moaning we are short of numbers, we have been saying that for some time now. Just wish he would get his head out of his arse and see what every one of us see.it gives me no pleasure to have a go but come on. ffs

I was neither for or against when we signed him, thinking being, that given a better squad as a starting point, better support and more backing than he got a Wigan (no offence Wigan) Then he maybe a good appointment. Last season like most I thought he was the one to take us forward. Now I think he looks totally out of his depth.

I wasn't for his appointment at all. I was strongly in the Vitor Perreira camp, however after last season, I really did think I had martinez all wrong, and was won over by the apparent transformation and the pretty football. Now it would appear I'm back to square 1 again!

I said to my Wigan mates when Moyes was on his way that (tongue in cheek) Bill would go for Martinez because he is cheap, a yes man and can work with a budget. They told me in no uncertain terms that oh yeah he would get us playing good football but would concede plenty. I know that on the surface we did well last season but analysis will show that in a good percentage we were very lucky.

I was devastated that Moyes left. Thought that RM would never be able to take over. Then was amazed when we got Lukaku on loan. Was even more amazed when we got him on a permanent. Was completely gobsmacked when Barry signed and even more gobsmacked with McCarthy's performances. I thought I had gone to heaven. I even accepted signings such as Kone, Alcaraz and McGeady. Just shows how wrong you can be.

{Ed025's Note - from heaven to hell..

I was against, then was eating humble pie last season. But I'm spitting it out now

{Ed025's Note - theres a lot doing that ace..

RM made a recipe with the team's performances and results last season that made a humble pie that most of his many doubters had to grudgingly eat.
This season, RM's recipe hasn't worked and it's his supporters that are having to eat the unpalatable concoction!
:-(
