quick question lads, been waiting 5 years, anyone tell me what it is tom cleverley does on a football pitch yet?.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets have a look at what others of the footballing world think :

"Everyone of us should emulate him. We can all learn from Tom Cleverley'' - Andres Iniesta

"Clevs is unbelievable - he's one of the greatest of all time." - Wayne Rooney

”Tom Cleverley is THE phenomenon.” - Cristiano Ronaldo

"There is no doubt for me that Tom Cleverley is in a class of his own. He’s almost untouchable in what he does. I never tire of watching him play. You rarely come across the complete footballer, but Cleverley is as close to it as you can get'' - Zinedine Zidane

''Cleverley is the best midfielder I’ve ever seen. He can pass, score goals with his left, right, his head – he can do anything. And he can beat a player too. He is unbelievable'' - Luka Modric

"When Cleverley passes the ball it stays passed. The ball goes exactly where he wants it to. I have always loved him for that. He is an absolute genius. He is a role model for anyone who wants to play football. He is a joy to watch.'' - Xabi Alonso

"I’d go for Clevers as the worlds greatest ever player. I’ve seen him do things that no other player can do. The way he can control the tempo of games, and his range of passing, are both incredible. Players just haven’t been able to get near him.'' - Ryan Giggs

Tom Cleverley is a role model. For me, he's the best central midfielder I've ever seen. He's spectacular, he has it all: the last pass, goals, he's strong, he doesn't lose the ball, vision. Players love him." - Xavi Hernandez

Well there we have it.

That's what we do
Sign Clevs

What's worrying is what Martinez sees in him.

Who cares, he doesn't play for us!

He is a master of the backwards or sideways pass so should slot perfectly in with Robertos total football plan.

Cat amongst the pigeons time.I actually think he is a pretty average footballer. Not brilliant, but certainly not as bad as some think. He does tend to make the simple pass every time, but he covers an awful lot of the pitch breaking the oppositions attacks up and then runs with the ball and makes a simple pass. He would fit into RM's style (which I don't particularly like) and probably increase our possession even further. I hope we don't sign him, but he isn't as bad as some say.

Yes he's such a fantastic player that With all them so called references from some of the games greats he's plying his trade at where? Oh yes Aston Villa. on loan.

I just don't get it, its not that he's so bad (which he is) but he's so talentless, and to think when he joins he will be our highest paid player, he's actually the luckiest man alive
