Morning ed/Blues

Didn't we all (or majority) decide last week sometime to stop moaning for a bit, it's getting depressing now

Come on Blues, we have moaned ourselves into depression, let's look forward to our European night on Thursday

Here's a positive prediction, we will finish the season well now as looks like Bobby has learnt how to defend, I know our attack is struggling but we will click, anyway finish 6th and win the Europa cup.

Murf:

Here's my dark secret .

Start of the season I would have taken a mid table finish with no relegation battles at all and a Europa Cup win

In August I thought with this squad and also with RM we could do this without straining ourselves so to speak,

However now I am looking at the question ' where are the goals going to come from? '

Ever the optimist though so fingers crossed mate ;)

I would be happy with top 10 and a Europa win. Even 15th with a Europa win would be great.

I would be happy with a goal or 2 to celebrate, starting Thursday and a decent win Sunday and then just maybe I may begin looking up.

I would take a draw on Thursday a win would be fantastic then beat Leicester and a great european night at goodison in the home leg to ignite the rest of the season!

I would be happy with 4th from bottom and a Europa Win. I don't care. so long as we keep our prem status, then there is no problem for me. But Europa is such a huge prospect for us.

Having said that, I reckon we will have our arse's handed to us against the current teams in the mix atm. Wolfsburg in particular are much stronger since we last faced them.

I'm not going to be "happy" with anything we now do this season. That way I'll not be disappointed. I reckon that's the only way for an Evertonian to remain sane and calm. I'm just looking forward - more in hope than expectation based on this season's performances and results - to next season being better. Ho hum.
:-(

{Ed025's Note - how about if we win the europa sid?..

Ed025: Do you honestly think we really have a shot at the UEFA Europa League considering the other teams still in it AND considering our overall form this season - albeit improved defensively recently, but still poor attack-wise and poor in terms of goal-scoring?
I'll willingly eat a large plateful of humble pie if we do win, but I'm not holding my breath in anticipation!
;-)

{Ed025's Note - if im honest i think it will be very difficult sid, but i always live in hope mate.. :)

Sid would you have seen Wigan winning the FA cup? wow i'm feeling the optimism today!

Sid:

That ''humble pie'' had better be on an industrial scale mate!

Me personally,

I'm wearing my napkin in hope and anticipation ;)

Blue247: Industrial scale AND a double helping to boot - I'll need a spoon the size of Mirallas's ego to eat it!
However, I fear I'll be going hungry ;-)

Whatever my concerns (aka biased opinions!) about how this current season is panning out, my support for the team against YBB (and in every other fixture) will be 100%. I've no doubt that goes for everyone of my fellow Evertonians - whatever we may each think about Bill Kenwright and the board, Robert Elstone and the club's commercial staff, Roberto Martinez and the coaching & medical staff, the players (individually and as a team) and our performances and results, our financial situation, our transfer record (incoming and outgoing), the "new" stadium saga, and every other aspect of our club.
Once a blue, always a blue!
