Whatever the spin that RM will put on today's performance against Arsenal, it's results that count and that's yet another defeat - and another poor result following a Europa League fixture to boot!
There can't be any confidence that we'll get anything at Stoke, so we're likely to be going into the FA Cup break well and truly in the relegation mix.
Don't worry though - RM is making sure we're not playing "parasite" football (even though those teams he's criticising are getting results and moving away from the bottom of the table) AND he is making sure we have "phenomenal" and "perfect" Europa League performances (although any of the remaining quality sides would no doubt easily see us off).
Champions League? We were having a laugh!
Championship? We're on our way with Bobby's army!

{Ed025's Note - thats a bit despondent from you sid..

Agree with some of this post but a bit over the top. I can understand though this season has been emotionally draining!

Ed025: I've been increasingly annoyed this season by RM's complaining - about referees, travelling, etc. - and, in my humble (and biased!) opinion, he really took the biscuit by complaining about "parasite" teams. Well, Mr Martinez, two of those teams (WestBrom and Leicester) recently held us to draws when those fixtures should really have been two home bankers for us. All the spin and other empty words count for nothing - it's only results and points that'll preserve our sixty years to date of top-tier football. As it stands, RM will carry on with his stubborn ways and views and we would be regarded as the best side ever to be relegated - which is bo****ks since we'll get what our play throughout the season deserves. I'm just hoping that there are three sides who are statistically worse than us at the end of the season. I don't see RM doing anything himself to change things - although, as a loyal Evertonian wanting only the best for our club, I hope that myself and other doubters have to eat a large helping of humble pie after the final fixture.
:-(

{Ed025's Note - i dont dispute any of that for a minute sid...if hes getting to one of our more positive posters like you mate...things are really bleak..

Roberto's after match comments no surprise there. We need momentum says he, come on have you no respect, resign and take some responsibility.
