We wouldn't get anywhere near £27m for those players, only Mirallas has any value and I wouldn't sell Baines because Garbutt may decide to leave on a free. However we would pocket about £250k per week in wages if Howard, Distin, Alcaraz, Pienaar and Mirallas leave.
Does anybody know if there are any good frees available in the summer?

Apart from Ings wouldn't want any of the others, think we can do better. But agree we do need to offload the old boys, time to move on.

I like Hoilett but would I doubt I would look to sign him. He's not the player he was.

I agree with most of the outs with the exception of Baines, I'd be concerned about having to rely on Garbutt for a full season and Oviedo's fitness is concern since the broken leg.
As for in's I suspect we are going to be very disappointed this year, I honestly do not see BK trusting El Bob with a wad for transfers, so I would expect Howard to stay and the likes of Cleverley, Ayew and other out of contract signings, perhaps a permanent deal for Lennon. But I am not holding out much hope.

Just remember that we must name a Premier League squad of no more than 25 players aged 21 and over - and at least 8 must be homegrown.
Once you've shipped out all the players you don't like - and brought in other players- then you'd better be sure we comply with the rules.

Think you are wrong on the valuations Tom, I think we could comfortably get the following myself mate:
Out
Howard - 1 million
Alcaraz - 1 million
Distin - zero
Piennar - 1 million
Mirrallas - 14 million
Baines - 10 million
I think Robbie is pretty spot on with the valuations, and I know Alcatrash is garbage but someone will pay for him.

Isn't Alcaraz out of contract in the summer? I think we could get £10m for Kev comfortably, any more would be a bonus. I also think that £10m for Baines is a bit of a risk for a 30 year old who may be past his best (judging by this season's form). Even if we did total the £27m, what will that buy us? 1 quality signing? 2 good signings? We need about 5 or 6 players, so we will still be into the loan and free transfer market.

ye think so Ed, I know he has not been at his best because his head has been turned and injuries but when he is on his game he is amazing.
Spuds value Lennon at around 10 million but seem to want Mirallas instead so for me if he is going to Spuds as we all suspect then it should be for around the 14 million mark.
I know who I would want, here is a clue, he looks like a miserable sod lol
