Just reading about fans going to protest against kenwright today I hope not shameful IMO yes he has not got major funds but for me he has done a good job he is a true evertonian who I believe has our very best interests at heart it was a gamble picking moyes to take over Everton boss but absolutely the right one and is the very reason we are still challenging top end of table being a fan of moyes I was disappointed in the way he left us seems to be the case with our great club for players and manager you go from hero to zero lol although we had disappointing season I do believe the team as a hole have learnt a lot from it Martinez mostly I do believe kenwright has once again made a great choice in management and that Martinez is the one to take us forward also IMO it is very good judgement by kenwright not to give into pressure by acting to soon and sacking our manager something I'm sure he will do during next season if things don't work out until then I believe Martinez does deserve a chance to win back the hearts of every Everton fan I believe he will I think some fans need to realise that a top seven finish for a club with our finance is not by any means an easy task as all of these teams and many teams below us have consistently spent more money than us this is where ye all say well sell up to some prat of a billionaire who cares nothing for our club prob just a hobby for him yes we might get lucky and find someone good but no thanks seen to many teams of late who have bin destroyed by so called saviours could bring cash but huge risk IMO be carful of wot you wish for :) financially as a club we are in pretty good shape now unlike a lot of others not to sound to like Martinez but I think we have some phenomenal young talent in our squad stones Barkley Coleman McCarthy besic lukaku garbutt if we can hold onto with the older players we have and some more promising youth coming through I believe this is by far the most exciting squad we have had in a long time with three or four good signings withouth sales :) I think we will be very strong with a team that can challenge at the top for years to come anyway that's just my thoughts I believe we will be on fire next season so patience not change our club is on the rise fair play if you read all that took me ages lol I'm done

Agree with everything you have said, everyone is entitled to there oponions but some need to look at the facts.still think november is the time to reassess the situation.just get behind the players and stop targetting certain players and if you sit in the top balcony aroundabout g42 can you not renew your season ticket, everyone is getting naft off with your negativaty.

Wake up and smell the coffee. You've been brainwashed by Moyes and Kenwright into thinking we are "punching above our weight". Well I'm old enough to remember when we were the Mersey millionaires, and mediocre was not good enough. If it wasn't for the TV money we would be up the creek. We have an old ground, sold our training ground and year by year stagnate. So don't give me all this bull about what a fantastic job there doing. It's bull.

16 May 2015 22:15:19
With respect, I could not disagree more. Until we are free of Kenwright's dead hand of control, our only destination, is as mid table also rans (at best) His selection as manager, is man who had wigan religated, and in the previous two seasons almost did the same, only when he was " forced " to abandon his so called principals did we manage to grinned out a few points to keep us out of the relegation scrap. It is time for Kenwright to stand aside, and for the board to actually save money by comeing up with the cash to remove that deluded spanish idot, before he can land us with cleverly and other such "wonderful" buys.

16 May 2015 23:32:58
Lol to start with Woburn when u were old enough it's now not then we are not the Mersey millionaires of old because of our finances yes we have bin punching above our weight for many years now do you think we should be above arsenal Chelsea both Manchester clubs no we are a great club with a very exciting squad for me times are good despite the disappointing season come next season I'll remind you how wrong you are :)

16 May 2015 23:37:12
Jc speaking of a club punching way above their weight one word Wigan the special one would not keep them up I could be wrong but fully believe Martinez should be judged next Christmas

16 May 2015 23:52:50
Again, I will reiterate that, although Bk is the face we know as chairman, it is just as much the board who need to stand up and be counted. Say what you like about Bill, but this man mortgaged his house/business to keep us running when the other multi millionaires sat idle. I'm of an age where I remember the PJ years and, believe me for those who are too young, that man would have took us to the brink of destruction. I agree that we need something to move forward but I am also realistic in my views. We are not the club we were in the 80's, part of the Merseyside millionaires, that ship sailed when the Moores family decided to take sole control of our neighbours. For what we generate cash wise, we are doing ok in the prem compared to teams that spend a lot more. Do we, as fans, expect far too much from our team/board with the budget we get? Football is this country is a billionaires game now, sad but true, so are we happy to plod along or do we want to be taken over by somebody who hasn't got the clubs, or fans, best interests at heart? We are hamstrung by the ridiculous FFP ruling, this only helps those that have spent fortunes in the past. I agree with the slights on the manager, personally I don't think he is good enough and his relegation with Wigan is a worry. Give him until October/November to see if he can reach the heights of last season, if not then we have to make changes. But the board has to take as much blame as Bill, we should all see that

good post spudv for me some fans are just getting to carried away in hope of martinez bein sacked and change of ownership outcome of that nobody knows i'm sure kenwright and the board will be judgeing martinez from the off next season then decide the way forward

Coby two of the clubs you mentioned were bought by foreign owners and there doing ok. I doubt I will be hearing from you this time next season if things stay the same mate, will be to late by then. But hey keep dreaming.

17 May 2015 06:12:02
Yes really punching above our weight when Swansea and Stoke finish the season above you, oh and add Southampton to that list! We underachieved this season due to the managers philosophy not working and the players not buying into it.

{Ed025's Note - i agree with that gray, i believe coby is trying to put a positive spin on things and fair play to him, my take on things for what its worth is that the manager has been found out this season, he is stubborn and tactically naive and i cant see him changing, on BK i have to say i love the guy, he is blue through and through but like bobby is also naive in thinking one man (as the rest of the board are a joke)can run the club on his own, for me i want him as the figure head but with support from investors who can back up the need for a new stadium and a stronger squad, but thats me dreaming like coby mate.. :)

17 May 2015 13:43:05
we will just have to wait and see Woburn don't worry I'll be here next season you say it will be to late really like half a bad season and you wanna give up on your team I take you think we will be fighting relegation next season then lol blue when was the last time any of these clubs finished above us we have consistently being challenging near the top have they?

17 May 2015 14:27:49
Ed025 I totally agree with you. We mentioned it recently on how the club still feels like the club I went to 30 odd years and that's 100% down to BK. What we do as a club makes me feel extremely proud.

We get invited to the junior blue xmas party, my son was involved in the mini evertonian day and the club organise a huge amount of events around the city.

Its won awards for Everton in the community, grants to start its own school and players understand they also have a role to play in that by attending charity events and some with there own contribution to good causes. We out shine by a long long way our neighbours accross the park.

Its not just a chairman, manager and a bunch of players. Everton is a way of life and i'd be proud to live my life the way our club does.

Money is no longer the problem at the club. As well as spend money last season we also paid off a chunk of the debt and I suspect the same will be done this season. This is another plus for potential investors.

What our club needs is infrastructure in the form of a new stadium and commercial assets. That way billionaires or whatever would never be needed.

{Ed025's Note - sounds good to me john mate..

17 May 2015 19:20:57
Not got a bad word to say about BK ed, I believe he has done his best I believe he is a yes man for the bigger fish on the board. Coby you asked when was the last time and that is exactly my point they haven't finished above us yet you stated we are punching above our weight? So that sort of devaluates your point? My point is we have massively under achieved this season and without the excuse of europe next season we need to be back challenging top 7 minimum and if not well there has to be a change at the top.

18 May 2015 13:42:37
Yes underachieved this one season blue not the other ten but yes that is exactly my point I think we will be back up top 6/7 next season which is no easy task considering the strength of the teams occupying the top seven now

18 May 2015 18:41:48
I hope so coby but out of them teams above us are they better than us on paper? I wouldn't say they are. Come August the slates clean and we start again. Hopefully fresh ideas and a group of players tight nit and working together as a team for the good of our club. The summer is the time to clear out the ones who don't want to be here regardless of who they are and start the season with a group who aren't looking at so called bigger clubs and challenges. I am not going to compile lists of who should stay and go I am just going to accept who goes has gone and support those who pull on that jersey regardless of whether I wanted them or not.

18 May 2015 20:32:29
No they not better than us on paper and with promising youngsters comin through we in a great position right now future looks bright IMO with a few good signings this summer we could have an exciting few years ahead of us no need for change just yet
