I think most will agree the season is ending on a better note than was expected a few months ago, but still not good enough. With all due respect to Stoke, Southampton and Swansea, they should not be finishing above Everton. All three of those clubs are well managed and coached, together with a responsible owner /chairman.
I didn't like the TV cameras zooming on a banner at West Ham yesterday say "Kenwright go" or what ever. Be careful what you wish for because if Bill decided to go now the club would be in deep sh. I have been critical in the past of decisions made but at the moment cannot think of anyone more suited to be chairman.

I suggest forget this season, start next season with a clean sheet regarding likes and dislikes of chairman, manager, coaching staff and players, then judge from there on. They will know where and when they have made wrong decisions and hopefully have learned from it.
As for expectations, a top six finish is the target and would expect a good run in the FA Cup preferably with a Wembley visit at the end collecting the trophy. Forget European football as the strength in depth isn't there at the moment.

Where I am concerned is that on Evertonfc, news now site Martinez has been stating he has no plans to buy a new forward as he is happy with Lukaku and Kone. He has no plans to look for a new goalkeeper. He has said Alcaraz and Distin have a future at the club, but it is up to them.? Whether this is fact or spin to deflect from possible purchases or not remains to be seen.

Regarding ownership think yourselves lucky we've not got an owner like Newcastle have.

K your last paragraph sums up what we are all worried about. If he still believes Kone is a prem striker, then there's no hope. As for Bill, he won't sell because the money men behind him want a big profit, and that's not going to happen.

Weve been through some new sheets mate.

How many goals for Kone now?

Degsy i'm not getting into it with that whole debate again but let me ask 2 things. 1. Were you made up when kone got injured for 18 months and 2. Do you want players too do bad just to make you look right and if you do, going back to osman, do you want us to get beat when he isn't playing?.

What stupid questions Swan. Of course I was not happy when Kone got injured. although I had said it was stupid effectively swapping a nearly 30 year old past it player for a 23 year old player of similar ability. but you did tme Kone was class and 100 times better than Anichebe. If you remember.I said purely as a business transaction. it was crazy. But I always want Everton players to do well. I could ask you the same here. Osman.was I right or was right? Few games at the beginning of the season with Osman. Everton doing ok. 11 matches in the middle of the season without a win Ossie out. End of season pick up oh Ossie is back. You and about 5 other posters on here ridiculing me all season for suggesting he still has a role at Everton. besides you the rest have gone quiet. I wonder why?

it had nothing to do with him having a role at everton, it was you suggesting we couldn't win without him. also, I never called him class, I don't remember telling you that, same with mcgeady, don't remember calling him quality, I will admit I thought alcaraz would be a decent signing, never quality. swan.
