Does anybody think "The Boss" deserves some praise for yesterdays victory.
1-1 with 20 mins to play, away from home, and he sends on 2 attacking wingers and Bingo!!
What would DM have done??

Agreed. DM would have gone for the point.

17 May 2015 18:27:12
He may have gone for the point or he may not have gone for the point. but we would have been at least 4 places higher in the league already. In my humble opinion.

With this squad degsy? Moyes wouldn't work with it, players like stones, lennon, naismith and lukaku would have been sold or never bought and with how the rest of the teams are doing i'd say we would be about 7th or 8th under moyes. Mainly because we wouldn't of got out the europa group stages. We would still be trophyless too. Least are fans could enjoy the european trips this season and got to see some good stuff. The league and cups have been bad, the league slightly worse probably than if moyes was here but oh wait. No, we wouldn't be higher if moyes was here, as we would still have jelavic and anichebe who get about 9 or 10 goals a season combined whereas lukaku has 20. Not to mention players like garbutt, galloway, browning and joel never getting a breaktgrough. To the op, if moyes was in charge of that game, he would have brought heitinga on and put naismith right wing and maybe brought jan mucha on to play centre back. While we have been poor this season, thank god we are away from moyes and his neverending streak of blandness. Give me a 10th place finish with a good run in europe and giving lots of youngsters game time all while having some great players already regulars like stones, mccarthy and lukaku. Over an 8th place moyes season with no youngsters, no exciting players with potential and non stop excuses about anything he can find.

Moyes would have finish top 7

Wow Swan, I bow to your in depth knowledge of what Moyes would do. I never realised you were clairvoyant. By the way, Stones and Naismith were signed by Moyes. so that one is a bit off. Also Garbutt has had such a breakthrough season with RM so that he has just signed a new 10 year deal? Lukaku? maybe you have a point.but wait. we sold Fellaini to pay for Lukaku. so maybe, just maybe we might have had a different forward? And if you are happy to settle for 10th with the type of super football that we have played this season (not) then you see football different to me. I thought the last season under Moyes was awesome.

I never said he didn't sign him, I said he would of sold the. Or wouldn't of played him (he never played stones and always had naismith on in the 92nd minute to waste time). Also, garbutt? Its his choice if he wants to leave, 10 year deal? Keep it relevant. Moyes wouldn't of sold fellaini and if he did, he wouldn't of signed a player like lukaku, maybe a shane long or kevin doyle. Also, me clairvoyant? that's a bit rich coming from you degsy.

Swan, DM bought Stones and Naismith

19 May 2015 11:49:49
i didn't say he didn't buy them, he just never played them and both would of been sold or in the reserves by now.

Theres the clairvoyance again Swan. lol
