Maybe Bk is holding back some funds for the next transfer window.Maybe he realises that come Xmas there will be a new man in charge who he will have to back as Rm seems to be doing a great job in detaching himself from the fans his lazy transfer policy will catch him up and if we get of to a slow start next season expect him to be gone.Bk will no how the fans are feeling about Rm so nothing short of a great start will do my feeling is we have a good squad but are not getting the best out of them and that has to be down to the manager .

There it is again, can someone explain what is 'lazy' about his transfer policy?.

Kone Alcaraz Mcgeady Robles these are lazy signings he new that they were average but he went for them because he new they would come crap squad players.what is his scouting network doing can they not be arsed going further than the 62 he needs to leave the manc rejects alone there is leagues all over the world .

It's not lazy transfers. He has scouted them at his previous clubs, they were good for him, he believed they would do a job and so he bought them.

Signing players is not about going to the darkest depths of Albania to pick up a 7 month old new born baby, hoping he will be the next Maradona. This isn't Football manager.

Real Madrid signed Gareth Bale from Spurs, Ronoldo from up the M62. Barcelona signed Suarez from across the park. Arsenal signed Sanchez from Barcelona.

The teams that just buy players because they are from a far flung country usually end up like Newcastle, Hull, Cardiff, Fulham and if any of those players make it at those clubs which, is usually one or two a year, they are bought by one of the big teams in the league.

I wouldn't call it lazy, that's like saying why sign hazard from chelsea when you can sign josh gatt from norway. Kone hasn't worked out due to injury, mcgeady is garbage, alcaraz is always injured and joel is still very young and can't get a go in the side as no matter what he does howard gets put straight back in anyway. I also don't get why only the signings that haven't worked are lazy. Is cuadrado a lazy signing? Mangala? How about di maria? Why didn't these clubs just buy a load of 8 year olds from belarus, faroe islands and trinadad and tobago?.

I'd keep hold of Joel. I will admit he was appalling to begin with but slowly gained confidence and improved. He's a tall lad and I think some of the shots Howard couldn't reach Joel may have tipped over or round the post. He's a young lad and should be given time.

I think the term lazy started with me. what I actually meant was that if you restrict yourself to only looking at older players from local teams, they are more likely to be injury prone purely due to age.older players do get more injuries overall. Added to which, a local player released by a club is usually one considered not good enough for that particular club. Better bargains can definitely be found in foreign leagues and there are always young up and coming players in lower leagues. So if a club has an excellent scouting network as we seem to have, then utilise it rather than just accepting an older player that has been cast off by someone else. Let me put it this way. if rumours are true and Jonny Evans and Tom Cleverly sign for us. I would say that's another 2 lazy signings. See what I mean?
