Before I start this post, I would like to point out that I am asking a question, so I really hope certain people do not just start arguing with me and ripping the post apart.here goes. Over the last 10 years or so, we as a club have managed to bring in some experienced players from far away places and also some younger ones from closer to home. We have nurtured them, brought them into the first team and then eventually sold them for huge amounts, allowing us to then re-invest in the squad. Players like: Rooney, Arteta, Fellaini are probably the best examples. I also realise we brought in youngsters in Baines, Coleman, McCarthy, Besic and Lukaku. All of whom have added value to our squad. and of course Stones. who I am guessing will go to Chelsea for very top dollar. my question is. do we have any really young really promising young players who really look like they will make it? It was obvious to me that Baines, Rooney, Arteta, Fellaini, Coleman and Stones would make it and be of ever increasing value. However, I am not so sure that the other players I have listed will cut it. Lukaku obviously has certain talent. but cost a packet and his touch can be terrible. His attitude also looks suspect at times. Besic looks promising but also looks like he will be sent off most games. McCarthy has a fantastic work rate and defensively is usually great.but has not much of an attacking threat.and scores 1 goal per season on average. Not good enough for a box to box midfielder. I have not seen much of Galloway but Garbutt definitely looks good. but are there others? And please do not just rip my post apart disagreeing with my views on certain players. they are just my views.

Our midfielders don't score enough goals so they go and get Cleverly who also can't score goals. Should of been in for Milner before the shite got him, best signing of the summer and he was free.

Ledson as an u18 now I believe looks the real deal. He was the captain of the England u17s who won that World Cup last year. McCaleny looked good so far in preseason, other youngsters like Kieran dowell and jonjoe Kenny are 17-18 year olds who thus far have a real chance of making it into the first team. I would really like to see Browning be our 4th center back this year as well.

Sorry but the best signing of season is Peter Cech, what he will do in terms of improving Arsenal could be 10-15 pts come end of season which could be difference in winning title and for £10m it is deal of the season
