From the sounds of it now it seems like we perhaps really aren't negotiating a fee with Jose and Chelsea. We've sent them a letter telling them to piss off but apparently "that doesn't rule out a deal for the player". I guess poor little Jose is just confused about how he isn't able to buy whatever players he wants from "smaller clubs like Everton". But in all seriousness I do have a cheeky feeling that we truly do not want to sell this time and that this is all paper talk fueled on Chelsea's end. I really hope that I am right.

You are deluded clearly.

Can't see why he is deluded, TOT. JM has come out and said they have not made a second bid, him and Cahill talking about Stones in the press is to unsettle the player more than anything. Maybe they were hoping the lad would throw in a transfer request on the back of their tapping up? Until told otherwise, Stones is still our player so all the moaning and groaning from sections of our fans is futile. Stop using a derisory bid as a rod to hit the board/manager with, they had a bid turned down and don't want to offer anywhere near what he is worth to us. Not 100% the lad is leaving is it?

I saw that both Terry and Cahill said Stones would be mad not to join Chelsea but did either of them think that if he did it would be one of them giving up his place for stones to play (my bet would be Cahill) so seem a little daft to me and if stones is going to sit on the bench at chelsea until Terry hangs up his boots he would be putting his Euro 2016 place in jeopardy so I say stay where you are loved Mr Stones.

It's ok lads, It's difficult to take guys like ToT seriously when it's more than slightly obvious that he's a Chelsea fan who isn't used to not getting what he wants, and especially when his profile picture is whatever that is. I think Friday will be very telling in terms of this saga but I'm confident now that Martinez will stand firm.
