I feel dorry for our club sometimes. Because they don't come out and name specific players and acting like gentleman and abiding by the rules of the game, they get more stick from our own fans than others.
We're a proper club boys not like plastic ones like Chelsea. Be patient it seems good things are on the horizon.

You can look it at like that. You can also look at it as a player we own got done for a drunken hit and run and the club have said nothing which personally I see as far from gentlemanly and actually quite vulgar. Even if he ain't getting the sack we should still be condoning this stuff. Before someone says not proved yet, he was breathalysed over the limit what more proof is required? The guy spent the night in a cell and is simply awaiting punishment not clearance.
You could also argue that pretending to build a new stadium every time season tickets are up for renewal is a bit low and certainly not the act of a gentleman.
I love our club. I know the board members and ultimately it scares me knowing the people they are. Look they are not criminals they are not satan on earth but they are businessmen with no association to the club at all. The 2nd biggest share holder is a life long previous season ticket holder at spurs. He is not an Evertonian

Yeah best buds I bet. Anyway when you get your head out of your arse what gibson has done is not a reflection on our club. He is the one who has committed the crime is and is going to court which is exactly what would happen in any other business. What happens after is private between the club and employee.
Read this whenever you get off your high horse.

I'm not on a high horse mate just rate drink driving in my top 3 dispicable crimes, simply no excuse. So many alternatives especially if you have cash. It is just a complete lack of care for everyone around you.
In terms of best buds. Far from it. I have explained many times my connection to the club and it's twofold, fairly coincidently. One is related to where my father lives the other is related to a family friend who has since gone on to be massively successful in America and happens to own a large share of our club. Last time I went in to detail I was threatened with action, the eds will back me up.
If you have been done for drink driving fair enough everyone makes mistakes I am far from perfect, I just think a guy earning that type of cash in the public eye where half your job is playing football the other half is being a brand ambassador has failed massively in his job description. Also in any industry when you earn a large amount your contract does have stipulations about criminality which I'm certain Gibbo has broken
