This summer we have seen the worst campaign to sell a player in the history of football. Pundits, commentators and everyone in between have been trying to sell Stones to Chelsea ever so desperately. Everyone telling him he should move, obviously this is because Chelsea are one of those clubs that Sky and all that love, no bias eh? I will keep this short.
It's ridiculous and everyone involved from journalists, panelists, pundits, commentators and even Chelsea's disgusting manager and captain have tried selling Stones. It is beyond a disgrace, it has been obvious from the get go that Stones was not leaving, hell, HE SAID IT HIMSELF. Yet these persons have tried everything from trying to unsettle him to mentioning him WHENEVER POSSIBLE. How can a Champions League match between Celtic and Malmo get into a full on discussion about Stones and telling him to leave. Shearer, Murphy, Redknapp, Mourinho, Terry, Cahill, Thompson (don't even get me started on this big nose plonker), Martin Samuel, Dominic King, The Daily Mail, The Mirror, The Express, The telegraph, The other one that shall not be named, Alan Smith, MOTD commentators, The Star and all these are just a few examples of the people doing EVERYTHING they can to get him to go. It is not happening. GET OVER IT. Mourinho saying their is a campaign against Chelsea from official's was said with no proof at all. With this? Well, we have TONS of proof. I'm not talking about all the other players they tried to make leave like Coleman, Baines, McCarthy, Barkley, Lukaku and Mirallas. I mean JUST Stones. I have never seen anything like it in my life. Has anyone else seen such a clear goal from so many people associated with Football to try and get a player to leave a club?.
It's embarrassing for everyone involved because it is very obvious he doesn't want to leave nor are we selling him.
Sorry for the rant but the DM just printed 4 articles in the last 3 hours with Stones as the cover of each again trying to sell him and it made me reach breaking point.
Again, apologies from the rant it's just the whole saga has been a joke from the very start.

I seem to remember the Rooney debacle was on a par with this. The whole of the English speaking world was selling him to Everton for us.

Have to agree whole heartedly Swan. and don't forget that idiot Merson who said Stones would learn from Terry.I think he learns very well from the present England Centre half Jags. Terry might show him how to screw team mates wivesthat is about all
