I fully prefer Naismith to Kone, he works harder and puts his heart into every performance, not to mention he has plenty of derby experience and a goal in a Merseyside encounter.

However, from a tactical perspective i'd go Kone, his confidence is high and he seems to have a great chemistry with Rom. They link well. The main factor although for me is Deulefou, his crossing ability and the number of crosses he gets in will be our main threat in my eyes, I fancy Kone over Naismith to get on the end of them. Naisy is intelligent and gets in the positions, not to mention he I great in the air. but Kone is a natural striker and a natural finisher and like I mentioned confidence in front of goal. Plus his back to goal work could be useful in getting out. especially after the first half against WBA when we just hit long aimless balls forward with no one to hold it.

I would start Kone. Not that I prefer him to Naismith. I think tactically it would be more effective. Imo Naismith would give the team a bigger lift coming on especially if the team isn't in front.

Although Kone would be good to bring on too. The hat trick Naismith scored a couple of weeks ago is what I'm talking about. I know Kone scored when he came on recently too. Naismith always gets busy when he's introduced which would give the rest of the encouragement. Hopefully we won't need it. Just think you get the best out of Naismith when he comes off the bench.

A similar type thing to Solskjaer (parden for spelling) for United. A.k.a. the baby faced assassin 😃

Play them both, play with 12 men, why not, Liverpool will be playing with 12 men, no idea what their team will be but we know Martin Atkinson is starting.
