Here's a question: when Baines is fit to play, would any of you bring him back in as the automatic first-choice left-back or does Galloway deserve to stay in the team for longer? The same question might possibly be posed about Coleman and Browning. Both youngsters have done the team - and themselves - proud in my humble opinion.

Agree0 Disagree1

Put Coleman straight back in but not Baines.

And what do we do at the end of the season when we have four players - Baines, Oviedo, Garbutt and Galloway - vying for the left back position. Would we keep all four - maybe with Oviedo covering left-midfield (replacing the aging and injury-prone Pienaar in the squad) and Galloway also covering at left-sided centre-back?

Oviedo is going in the summer mate his contract is up. No idea how to keep them all happy, perhaps Baines or Garbutt may cover the left midfield position. Or Baines goes in to midfield.

I firmly believe in Stones and Galloway we have 2 of Englands future back 4. Galloway has been so impressive I really hope Roy is watching. Perhaps a £100 m offer for both Jose? thanks but no thanks. The problem is we all love Baines and especially love him through the loyalty he has shown. Tough call for Bobby.

I think both Seamus and Baines will probably both walk back in the team when they are fit enough to play. I'm not saying it is the right thing to do, both Browning and Galloway haven't put a foot wrong and deserve to keep their spot in the team until they hit a dip in form.
As Swan says, think BO is on his way out come the summer. Real shame as he was hitting top form before his horrendous leg break, he just doesn't seem to be the same player he was before that fateful fa cup game.
With regards to the two young lads filling in at the moment, they should be proud of their performances so far. Galloway will go on to have a good career at cb with us, think that's his favoured position. Throw in the mix Holgate, Pennington and Browning (not forgetting Stones, for as long as we can keep him) then we have a decent back line for the future. Mori looks like a tidy player too, if he continues to improve then that 9m might not be as expensive as it seemed

Both Baines and Coleman should go straight back in when they are match fit. Galloway has done very well but he is nowhere near the player Baines is. He may well develope into a great left back but at the minute Baines provides more assists than 95% of defenders in world football. Coleman will walk straight back in as Browning is years behind him.

{Ed025's Note - they have both done exceptionally well joe, and to be honest i think galloway is a better defender than baines, and after all defending has to be the main priority for a full back..

Galloway has been excellent Ed but Baines is a much better all round player at present. Galloway may edge the defending between the two but a full back needs much more than that these days.
Galloway looks like he'll develope into a great full back but there are not many that compare to Baines in world football right now. Browning has done ok last few games but Coleman is years ahead of him in most departments.

{Ed025's Note - its all about opinions joe..
