Coleman-8-Pocketed the Brummie Aiden McGeady uh oh I mean Jack Grealish. Solid forward and going back.
Stones-9-He looked bored, just casually glides past 4 players and nutmegs people. He is genius, best ball playing Centre Half I've ever seen.
Mori-8-Bar that one brief moment of panic he was typically solid.
Galloway-8-Caused no problems defensively and got forward more, boss.
McCarthy-7.5-Much better this week.
Barry-9-Ran the game AGAIN, is there a less appreciate player at Everton? .
Deulofeu-9-Gave Richardson a beating like no other, love this guy.
Barkley-8-Calm under pressure, glad he got 2 and an assist, hopefully he can go on a good run now.
Kone-7-Worked hard but should've scored, quality in possession though.
Lukaku-8.5-Superb hold up play and gave Richards the runaround, but you know, he doesn't work hard enough and some people would actually prefer someone like Jelavic. Don't remember who it was but someone said he doesn't get involved in enough of our play, he's been involved in all but 3 of our last 20 goals. He's brilliant and I'm sorry but I honestly wouldn't swap him for anyone. Maybe he is even less appreciate than Barry. Who in the league is much better bar Aguero? Who do we replace him with? Who have we had who has been better? Should we drop him? . He's fantastic.

Great game, Villa not very good, our fans were, less angry than usual. Still had the odd weirdo asking for long balls at 4-0 with 5 minutes left. Does anyone know why Charles Gil got booed? I mean, I don't remember him doing anything to us? Why did we boo him? .

Swan:: you didn't rate Gbson, but he wasn't on very long. He did show with a couple of through-balls that's he's surely the best passer in our squad.

Agree with most of that Swan. Think you should give Howard a 7 though, made two decent saves when called upon despite not having a great deal to do. Gerri is quality, getting better with each game. Only criticism would be he needs to cut out the obvious dives, refs will go against him if he does it every game. His vision and passing range is superb, he tore a poor villa defence to shreds today. Long may it continue!
Mirallas looked lively when he came on, unlucky not to grab himself a goal. All in all, a great performance. Some of the one touch passing was a joy to watch. Let's hope we can keep this run going.

In relation to your comment about Lukaku Swan I don't think it was me who you were talking about that said he wasn't involved in the play enough. I don't know who it was that was negative about Lukaku and made the comments you were talking about.
I've been 99% positive about Lukaku in my comments. I have commented that at times he doesn't get enough of the ball. Not putting a bad reflection on him. It was putting a bad reflection on the rest of the team for not giving him the ball more.
Obviously everything was hunky dory today but some games so far the ball wasn't played to Lukaku enough and it was a positive comment on behalf of Lukaku on my part. I think if he got more involved with the ball in some games he would do even better. Obviously he's doing brilliant and scoring loads of goals. I have commented before that Barkley didn't pass the ball to him enough.
I wouldn't swap him for anyone. Mainly because he's so young and he's only going to get better. He's the last player i'd like to see leave the club. But Swan do you seriously think he's the second best striker in the premiership?
As I said I wouldn't swap him for ANYONE. He's obviously up there with the best of them. But that doesn't automatically mean he's the best or even second best striker in the premiership. Imo he has the potential to become the best striker in the world some day.
Hopefully he achieves that some day. Even better, I hope he achieves that with Everton some day.

Agree with all assessments but Gerry 9.5 on this game. He was unstoppable and I would have given him 10 if he scored. Every time he got the ball its was Cristiano Ronaldo like, something was going to happen. Truly amazing player and we are blessed to have him! Mirallas also a 7. He created more chances in 20 minutes than Aston Villa did in a whole game.

No I know it wasn't you mate, I don't know if he's the second best, I just meant other than Aguero I don't think there is anyone clearly better. He has everything physically and has improved his touch massively, scary how good he looks with Kone alongside him, keeps improving this quickly and he can be one of the best in Europe, he is when at his best, he's just becoming more consistent.

Yea think you've hit the nail on the head there Swan by saying he's become more consistent. Exactly how I see him this season.
With the run of games we have up until the new year getting into Europe looks like a real possibility at this stage.
Leicester are really flying. They'll have to start sliding down the table for us to get a chance of making top 4. They are doing fantastic but leaking in a lot of goals.
If they stop scoring as much or if Vardy gets injured then I think it will be tough for them to keep going the way they are. Especially when there defence is letting in so much goals. Utd have let in something like half the amount of goals that Leicester have.

agree swan people that put lukaku down I'm sure are prob the ones that wanted Martinez sacked and the club sold people who know nothin and are all quite now.

We'll never get as a good a striker as Lukaku unless we get some serious investment. Every blue should be over the moon to have a player of his quality up front for us. He's got the potential to be one of the top 5 strikers in the world.
