All disappointed with the result and now 4 games we've scored 3 goals an haven't won, however so many said we needed Jags back but didn't he play in those games? We can score goals this year whip is a massive plus, Bobby knockers are blaming him but so many said it was a good side out there!

Cmon guys it's frustrating and exciting but the players are the ones on the pitch at the end and must shoulder some responsibility, we are a couple of players away from top four and today we outplayed the champions!
I am as frustrated as anyone but still think we are going in the right direction and anyone who thinks we are a new Wigan is deluded!

Agree2 Disagree2

"The champions", the champions nearly everyone has beaten this season. We put 2 past them and somehow didn't win. Jags didn't play against Stoke or Bournemouth.

He is turning us in to Wigan, nice football but losing lots of games, barely winning. Closer to the relegation zone each season, best players soon to leave. No work on set pieces, inability to defend, getting worse each game.

Sounds like Wigan to me.

Wigan were nothing like us, a few good games (us in the FA cup) but always strugglers!

As we will be soon.

When we played the top teams away with Moyes in charge everyone was moaning we never had a go and we were just seeing a draw is a good result. Now we have Martinez who goes to every team to try and win, you moan.
Yes its frustrating, yes Martinez has made mistakes. But I am loving the way we play.

Bit of a daft statement mate, we are similar to the way he had Wigan playing and getting slightly better results because we have better players. I'm not deluded, I can see the comparisons in front of my eyes and it doesn't look good to me. If we sell Rom then draws will turn to defeats as he dominates our goal scoring. That is the biggest difference between us and the Wigan side he managed, we have a top notch forward at present.
I agree the players have to shoulder some responsibility for the bad defending they do at times but the buck stops with the manager. As it does at any club. He sets them up to play the 90 minutes each game. He continues to play players out of form, he continues to not practice set pieces both attacking and defending. His stubbornness will eventually lead to his demise but how much longer do we have to put up with this? If we finish in the bottom half again then we will lose a few of our top players come the summer, it's inevitable. Any position less than 8th is failure and certainly not taking us to the next level he assured us all he would when he rode into Goodison. The job is to big for the man, question is will we wait until it's too late to act?

that's the negative way to look at it spud but there is also a positive way your glass is half empty mine is half full, I do know were your coming from but we ain't wigan and never will be.
