Byram to choose between us and west ham. The board need a statement here and sign him watever it takes otherwise that will be 3 players this season that westham have stole from under are noses. One of them (payet) arguably one of the best in the league.
{Ed033's Note - if i was a player, i would choose West Ham over Everton at the moment? West ham 6th, Everton 11th in the premier league and Bilic seemingly the better manager, over Martinez.
Obviously Everton (with their really good current squad) should be in at least 5th spot and if they were, then Byram might choose Everton, as if they were in5th or better then Everton would possibly have a good chance at getting a Champions League spot.
Something is terribly wrong at Everton and you have to hope that the current top Everton players don't start leaving.

Players don't choose on whether your 6th or 11th. They choose on how much they are going to get paid and if they will play in the team. Byram obviously won't get ahead of Seamus, so will go to WH. It's like saying Costa wants to join Leicester because there higher in the league, and could be playing Champ league next season.
{Ed033's Note - i was presuming that the salary would be similar between Everton and West Ham, but my main point is that there is something wrong at Everton and it should be figured out what the problem is and be fixed.

Ed 033 - you've absolutely nailed it. Once Coleman is fit Byram will be on the bench too. I can see him getting games at WHU.

{Ed033's Note - The board thought the majority of everton fans wanted martinez as manager so appointed him but now the everton fans have to ideally ask the board to appoint someone else.

Ed033 didn't hear that about the board unless it was similar to the badge change and the blatant lies told and originating from Elstone and his particular brand of PR. My take was that Martinez was employed on the basis of Wigan beating us 3-0 and then winning the FA Cup followed by his promise to get us into the Champions League, I think there was even a reference by BK to Roberto's CV (WTF) . Miguel Delaney's article hits the nail firmly on the head. Unfortunately Roberto's rhetoric will continue to be listened to and our board will be brain washed into thinking that bottom half finishes are the norm.
{Ed033's Note - Yes, i would imagine that roberto martinez will see out his contract, the challenge for Everton fans to sort is whether martinez will be given a new contract.

Ed33 I'm sorry this is just my option but this whole post is rubbish from you. We've assembled what has to be our best squad in years. If we don't learn how to defend come end of the season then yes it's not good enough at all but players and manager should be held responsible. It's not all doom and gloom. There's something special happening at Everton.
{Ed033's Note - Yes you have that 'option'. i see what you're saying, you're saying i'm jumping the gun, because you potentially could still get into the champions league. i agree that you should be there or thereabouts, but will you?

Champions league at this stage not a hope. Think everyone including Martinez knows the defence needs sorting asap. let's hope he can do it because the players have great potential. Need good proper coaching.
