just watched a fantasic rant off pual merson on ssn update he was spot on with everything he said about stones,martinez and everton I avin got much time for merson but he was brilliant today if you get a chance try and see it he really did get worked up.

See it as well Paul I nearly spilled my cuppa all over me he went on a mad one alright but as you say mate you can't argue with what he said he was spot on.

Watched it earlier Paul he was spot on even Charlie threw his 2ps worth in saying this isn't new everton fans were booing the style of play against Watford first game of the season because it was so slow and mind numbing and they all agreed we are under achieving unlike Bobby's views which are the complete opposite it was interesting to listen to mate
On that note if bobby doesn't believe we are underachieving does he really think this squad is the 12th best in the league
That must give the players great confidence.

i was thinking the same liam he is more or less saying that HIS PLAYERS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE ANY HIGHER he even thinks we are going to do something special this season. we av only got the fa cup left so wots it going to be are we going to win the best club calander competition,all the lads on ssn update were top players for top teams so they know wot they are seeing and talking about but robbie knows best. NOT.

Merson on Martinez after match interview 'watching and listening to him is like Men In Black, we watch a game and it is awful defending atrocious and then Martinez comes on, waffles on and when finished he must press that button and we all forget the game and say it wasn't bad that was it'.

Said this before, the board are quite happy with him keeping us in 11th, 12th, 13th as long as the TV money keeps rolling in. Often said but becoming more and more true as the weeks go on this bloke is turning us into Wigan and he does not give a stuff.
