Very sad Bolton's demise, Villa down Newcastle down, Sunderland possibly down.
All clubs with incredible histories a tradition of playing attractive football.
It couldn't happen to us though could it? Sorry unable to type any more as too many fingers crossed.

{Ed025's Note - obviously not this season mushy but if the trend continues then who knows?, the thing is that if lukaku goes then where are the goals coming from?, we are strongly linked with vincent janssen of AZ but we may need more than him to fill roms boots mate..

sad why? bolton what's their history, sunderland no history and as for newcastle I could not be more delighted if they went down I cannot bare them, were is their history. they avin got any. not won a trophy since adam and eve and yet the geordies seem to think they should be somewhere were they have never been before. granted villa have a history but they have been asking for this for years and now they have got it. but sad no not me mate.

Rather narrow minded view if I may say so. All of those Clubs mentioned above are some of the oldest in the Premiership. Would you also be so disparaging about Accrington Stanley.

Newcastle and Sunderland are both yo yo clubs. Villa is a shame, terrible how that club has gone. but it certainly can happen to us if results don't change. I see us as real contenders for the drop next season thanks to RM.

big deal. would you say the same if it was them lot across the road? I think not. me like lots of blues would take great delight in thier demise. oldest clubs in the league so what doesint mean they deserve my sympathy. as for stanley they survive on a shoe string so yes I would have sympathy for them as they have nothing but do their best. were as all the other no marks have or have had millions to spend but still manage to get themselves in a mess. so let me say it again. sunderland no history only their age, bolton no history only their age, newcastle no history only their age, villa lots of history but have been asking for it for years. narrow minde view NO ITS MY VEIW.

No history? Sunderland 6 league titles 2 FA cups. Bolton 1923 FA cup final the white horse final first at Wembley I think. played West ham, and have won the FA cup on 4 occasions 1 less than us. Added to both they had two of english footballs finest goalscorers playing for them in Brian Clough and the lion of Vienna Nat Lofthouse . I would defo say that's history.

Think it is young lads posting Jimmy C.

10 Apr 2016 11:57:18
sunderlands league titles. not in the top leagu. 2 fa cups. come on how far back do you want to go. bolton 1923 wow that is far back and just bcos they had clough and lofthouse playing for them means nothing. I didint realise that if you had a good player in your team it counts as history. barnet had tony cottee and edger davids playing for them hmmm history yeah right.

10 Apr 2016 12:05:15
45 if that's young. and if it was a young lad does that mean they no nothing tut tut.

10 Apr 2016 12:08:39
i am with you bp and i"m 50.

10 Apr 2016 12:10:51
They were all big clubs with history billsadoozy weren't they? Just because they have won nothing for years they don't get classed as big clubs. We sing about knowing our history, the fact is like them clubs mentioned we've won f all for years and years. Does that mean were not a big club with no history as well as if that's what you get judged on in todays world?

10 Apr 2016 12:12:22
and me and i"m 51.

10 Apr 2016 12:24:23
ye but jimmy I can remember when we won somthing. my grandad can't even remember when them sad clubs won anything.

10 Apr 2016 12:31:35
Were talking history lad. no matter how long ago it was you can't wipe it from the records can you? do you wipe our history out of the record books if someone asks you how many times have we won the league? no you wouldn't you would automatically without thinking say 9 . Because we've won nothing for donkeys years like other clubs all that history means nothing does it? oh and by the way I would get the facts right before I said anything Sunderland have won the football league first division title as it was called in the day 6 times.
