Barkley doesn't half come in for some stick from us blues.

However, has anyone actually seen what Ross has done this season?

I can't remember a Midfielder making such a contribution to an Everton Midfield since the 80's and I wonder if even then we had anyone do what he has done.

As I put below. He has scored 12 goals this season and assisted 10 others.

The nearest I can think of is Cahill had 10 goals and 5 assists in one season and Kev getting 11 goals in one season.

In a poor season he has done really well. Let's give a bit of credit to lad and remember he may not be Messi but he's a damn fine player.

I agree with most of what you say, he is a damn fine player. However, he needs to learn to let the ball go a bit earlier and he would be twice the player he is now.
He can be frustrating at times but hopefully the new Manager (and there will be one) will put him right in this regard.

Rest assured fellow blues, there will be a change of Manager. Moshiri is a billionaire and he didn't get that few bob by making OBVIOUS wrong decisions. Even I can see that one trick Bobby is not the right man for the job and I'm skint, well compared to the Billionaire anyway. Now where did I put my Rolex.

{Ed025's Note - good stuff frank..

I won't argue with that assessment either Frank. He still has much to learn and hopefully the next manager will not just praise his players to death but will also deal with the issues they have.

You can put Stones and Lukaku in the same bracket. I think Martinez expects them to learn by themselves rather than give constructive criticism.

Considering he won't peak for another 3 to 5 years he is making great progress.

Ross has lost form recently but his contribution this season has been excellent he is a real talent and hopefully will only get better.

Think he needs to work on his overall fitness, as do some others. A fitter Ross would shine in my opinion.

Ross has all the talent needed to succeed at this level and could easily push himself further. he has matured this year my only criticism is for his size he is not a very physical player I don't think I have seen him go for a good 50 50 tackle all season if you look at alli he has all the skills but also is willing to get stuck in when needed which for me just gives him the edge over rross.

I think it's because of his leg Am8s. When you break your leg in three places you lose that edge in the tackle and I don't blame him.

Deli Ali is a good player but Ross for me is selfless and always looks to play people in. You don't get many players like that.
