Some talk of EFC Board Meeting today.
It could go different ways.

Vote of confidence will surely wind up the demonstration risk tomorrow.

Will view the Managers position at the end of the season (most likely? ) . Will that stave off demo's?

Sacked, Unsworth/ Ferguson step in as Caretakers?

Thoughts?

Not expecting we will be told anything.

Ah yes hadn't thought of that option!
As we were then.

I think he will be sacked today. That's if the reports of a board meeting are correct
Why wait.
Get him out and start looking elsewhere, and we may, just may, have a chance of keeping our best players.
Wait until the end of the season and their minds could already be made up by then.

At least this way a new Manager would have a chance to speak to Romelu and Ross.
As for Stones, I'd bite their hand off if someone offers over 40M for him.
Although with Stones, I do wonder if he is overrated or has Martinez destroyed his confidence and if a half decent Manager could get in his head and sort him out.
Something tells me he's just overrated.

Certainly don't think Stones is overrated. Many managers in premiership would love to have him in their squad. What is lacking is either good coaching or play in position other posters have mentioned in front of CBs.

If there is a meeting and if they are discussing Martinez, why sack him today, that is just stupidity. At this stage nothing to gain nothing to lose, they will wait until Season end that is the common sense approach. And if termination is the intent no doubt they have taken advice and have a replacement in mind.

Love to be a fly on the wall, Billy can talk some bullshit, but Martinez can convince you a cow can hang over a cliff, with its tail clinging to a daisy without falling over the cliff, by the time Bobby has finished talking, even Bill will be bambuzuled.

Most likely and most sensible is like Watford to announce that situation will be reviewed at end of season.
