Heard someone mention that Emery will have a translator for his interview.
Do we know if he speaks English? This could be a deal-breaker for me Ed.

I'm happy with all of the names being banded about at the moment to be honest with you, except for Moyes! Not sure who posted it, but compare the names being linked 3 years ago to now, massive difference. Future's bright, but a huge Summer ahead.

When Pochettino arrived at Saints he hit the ground running I seem to recall and his 'English' wasn't all that at the time was it .

Wouldn't worry about the English too much. He still has 3 months to work on it. It would develop all the time. What he has done at Sevilla is very impressive. Like Hugo I'm happy with a lot of names being linked. Summer looks like its going to be enjoyable.

Long term I think it's hugely important for a manager to speak the correct language. However, as long as he is willing to learn the language and is smart enough to pick it up, I don't see it as a huge issue.

O I'd imagine he's well smart enough to learn the language. Its no coincidence they won Europa 3 years in a row.

To be honest I would prefer Pellegrini, he knows the Premiership and delivers consistent Champions League Qualification, even in this last Season of surprises.
