Just read a report about the worth of the owners of Premier League clubs, Everton with Moshiri are10th on the list with owners of the likes of Southhampton ahead of Everton. Add to this the fact that because of their league position and poor commercial revenue Everton have less money coming in than other mid-table clubs, not to mention the top clubs. Consequently all this talk about our new wealth has to be put in its true perspective. We will not necessarily be able to outbid or outspend other English clubs nor the big European clubs. I do hope that we will be able to bring in one or two quality players this summer but it will not be easy. For the future I am looking forward to a good DoF appointment and a much improved commercial side of the business.

I think the advantage we have blue is that Moshri seems willing to spend his money. The owner of Southampton is apperently worth 3 billion but she seems reluctant to spend. I think when Moshri gets his mate over from Arsenal players will see our true worth. A club could be worth 100 billion but if the owner will not spend then it matters not.

Southampton's owners may have more wealth than Moshiri but they are reluctant to invest in the team, hence the sales each season. We could add Granchester's wealth to Moshiri's but Lady Granchester despises Kenwright, and while he is still involved with the club, we won't see a penny of her family money.

I've been told that too cadet a few years ago, granchester won't get involved while bills there.

shakey30 it's pretty widely known mate. Fell out big time some time ago. Lord Granchester may be the family face with regards to EFC but it's his mum Lady Granchester who controls the purse strings.
