Been having a bit of a think over the squad. Would like to see Garrbutt (Galloway ahead of him now) , Gibson (but he's just re-signed) , maybe Barry (experience) , McGeedy, Kone and Niasse gone. May be harsh on Garbutt though.
Incoming. A keeper. A cb (2 if/ when Stones goes) a cm, a left sided mid/ winger and a striker (2 if/ when Lukaku goes)

Got to disagree on Garbutt and Barry, Garbutt will hopefully be our future first choice RB, don't forget Galloway's a CB. Even if Barry doesn't start we need his experience.

Garbutt our best LB until he got injured then the clueless one sent him out on loan because he was afraid to upset his favourite (s) (Bainsie) . Galloway against Stoke at Christmas was a rabbit in the headlights against the likes of Shakiri.

I'm not sure about Garbutt but he needs a chance. personally I'd like to see a right and left winger come in as Deulofeu looks like he could be a striker. Not a replacement for Lukaku but could be a real plus in that position.
I've been very surprised at how effective he has been in the position and looks a natural.
The centre back position is a difficult one and I could flip a coin on who I want. I thought Galloway looked good the other day and he seems very comfortable in that role. Much better than at left back.
The money I want to see being spent is in the middle of the park.
Two or three real quality players. This is to replace Barry and Cleverly. Barry is too old and Cleverly because he gives his all but lacks any kind of stature on the pitch.
I'd settle for Besic, Gibson and McCarthy staying but we need real presence in the middle.

I kinda agree about Barry experience, but if we are buying any sort of quality, then surely they will have experience anyway. Genuinely not sure on who is better left back, Garrbutt or Galloway, and not really seen Galloway at cb to have everything an opinion.

Id like to see Del Boy off Lukaku, with Mirralas behind then a centre mid of Barkley and JMac with a holding mid. Width provided by Coleman and Baines. So I think a keeper is 100% required, a Makele like midfielder and another striker for injury purposes, as Kev could play off Rom, as could Ross but then we would still need some creative cover or fire power in the squad. Let the youth flourish in the engine room of midfield and on the full back positions. Keep Barry for suspensions and injury to the holding mid.
Still if push came to shove I'd take a decent keeper and nothing else this window as our squad is strong and massively underachieved last season (including 2 semi finals)
