It's on the a website that chelsea have had a 57m bid rejected but everton have admitted defeat in there attempts to keep him and a fee remains to be agreed.

I thought efc had said that lak wasn't leaving?

Also city have said 40m for stones, take it or leave it. Personally I'd take it as his head wasn't in the game tonight and if we where playing a decent side they'd take advantage vans smash us. Remember lescott vs arsenal 1st game of the season he cost us 4 goals
.

What do people think? Keep stones or sell?

40m I'd keep. Absolute minimum 50m for him. Not sure exactly what percentage goes to his last club 20% or 25% something like that.

For this reason I wouldn't take any less than 50m. Only reason I'd let him go in first place is because he wanted to go.

Both City and Chelsea need to meet our valuations of each player or no deal will be done. With regards to City, how silly is it for them to say take it or leave it? They may covet him but he is our player, we name the price and then they either meet it or walk away.
What website are you talking about which says that about RM? On skysports it says we have turned down 57m and want 75m to get to the table. As much as I'd like to keep Rom, 75m would be enough to offload him. Great talent with great potential but that sort of cash is hard to turn down, especially with the agent he has who will try and get him a new club every transfer window.

Mirror and metro spud plus one other that i can remember. For my part there's no way we should see rom. he'll thrive under koeman.
