If we are willing to bid that sort of money for kalanic when he's crap, why would we not bid that sort of money for slimani? I just don't get what's going on at everton atm with these apparent bids. it doesn't make any sense.

Does anyone really think we would bid that sort of money on a 'crap' player, he would have been looked at and scouted long before a decision is made.

I've seen him play, many times. He's nothing short of awful. He doesn't even have a good scoring record at club level. International not so bad but if I had modric, rakitic and perisic putting crosses on my head or foot then I'd score a fair few.
