I'm not sure whether, or not, I'm allowed to be blasphemous or profane on this page but I hate to say the Dirty Reds are playing well.

With the exception of Man City (and possibly the Kloppity Klan) I can foresee another strange season with Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and the Potato Chips all dropping points at some stage.

I do think we'll get better as the season progresses and our play will improve. If we get behind the team there's a real chance we can keep pace with some of the pack leaders.

Another interesting feature that makes the premier league intriguing are the performances of Crystal Palace, Watford, Southampton and the rapid demise of Leicester.

The Crystal Palace Game isn't going to be easy but if we can take all 3 points we'll be in good stead for the derby.

I can understand spectator's apprehensions regarding our recent performances but we have to remember the Martinez way is still in the muscle memory of most players (with fractions of a second to make a decision the unconscious brain relies on muscle memory to react) . The players have had three years of pointless tactics and new ideas will require time for adaption, appreciation and new muscle memory.

However, familiarity with RK's methods and fitness regimes' will produce quick, sharp snappy passing and hopefully plenty of goals.

We just need a little patience and to get off the backs of the players and stop the abuse.

Our present situation reminds me so much of the 1982 and 1983 seasons (where we finished 7th on both occasions) I can almost see history repeating itself.

When you want to climb a ladder it's safer to take one step at a time and not expect to get to the top in one stride.

I do believe happy days are on the way.

Keoman the mighty Blues.

Pains me to say it Blue, but the reds are playing some incredible football! Difficult to admit it but Klopp is a manager I cannot help but admire.

What I have to say is how much of a fan I am of the offensive pressing game. The three teams dominating this premier league (Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham) are sides who play a high tempo, high fitness and high press 4-1-4-1.

This is a tactic, not only I feel we could adopt but is a tactic Ronald Koeman is striving for! Unfortunately as it stands Idrissa and Mirallas (if you watch the games you see it! ) are the only 2 players willing to press from the front.

Thankfully I have absolute faith in Koeman to work his quality in to the side to pull this out, and I genuinely believe we could be a top 6 side this season!

I've been on the beers so feel free to ignore my optimism.

We lost to Bournemouth, yes, but United lost to Watford, and the red shite lost to Burnley.

Have faith blues, believe me, we are back.
