I'd be very surprised if Southampton let Van Dijk leave during the January transfer window. When (if? ) he eventually moves - probably next Summer after receiving a massive offer - it will surely be to a club that's in the Champions League.

If he does go in January you can bet your bottom dollar it will be for a massive fee.
Wouldn't be surprised if Utd signed him. They don't mind splashing big fees and I'm sure Mourinho is putting pressure on them to bring in new players.
