that silly yellow card in last mins for jags has given him a lot of xmas off any views on why he got that silly card?

Agree2 Disagree0

As far as I know he was on a yellow card before that foul. For the foul he got a straight red card. For me a yellow would of been enough for the foul he done. Wasn't a straight red for me but probably was a yellow.

That's only my thinking.

it was his second yellow he was booked earlier for a foul the second was for a cynical trip to stop counter attack.

My bad. It was his second yellow. A well, means Mori will probably be in Mon night. Hope to god he holds his nerves for that game.

Wouldn't think he did it to just get Xmas off tp, he'll have plenty of them off once he hangs up his boots in the not so distant future. He just took one for the team.

Peres was away if he didn't . it's cynical like but helped make sure we got the 3 points instead of 1.

Did the foul warrant a yellow card? Personally i don't think it did, there was once again inconsistent refereeing last night.
Take Jagielkas first booking, the foul is on the edge of the box and thus prevents a goalscoring opportunity, yellow card correct decision, fast forward to the second half and a similar situation in a similar position difference being its a foul by Arsenal yet no card.
Then his second yellow if a pullback is a booking then oxlaide chamberlain should definitely have picked up a few.
Not going to go in because i don't wanna sound like Wenger 😂.

As far as I'm aware BG, tugging at an opponents shirt to pull him back is a yellow all day. Don't think Jags can have any argument but you're right on one thing, the consistency of refs needs addressing.

Hey

. jags knew what he was doing. it was a professional foul to stop the lad racing away and a threat on goal. he walked without looking back. cast iron yellow card n sending off. the other yellow led to their deflected free kick goal.

Mart.

But Ozil should also have been sent off walking off the pitch at half time. trying toconfront Coleman and all the hands on each other and Clattenburg even trying to stop him. Straight red for that sort of behaviour.

Very true Spud, the area of the field that the foul took place was probably the reason it was a yellow card, and i agree upon reflection as Perez was away if the foul was not commited.
