I just hope that the Everton owners are not just stringing Ronald Koeman along he is to good for this treatment, if signings are not confirmed this week then I would have my doubts.

Would Walsh's not have identified any potentials prior to the window opening? Just curious a knee jerk signing surely would would be unacceptable. I would hope we have a a few irons in the fire. On a seperate note ed any truth to the a. c Milan rumours for Del. I've read some crap saying they want him no loan free and no further commitment in place? Cheers

We just want from the owners what Koeman wants, we have to trust his judgment on the type of players that will benefit the team to at least maintain our position in the League, we seem to have clubs below us that are starting to push on

Have to agree GB some people just want signings for the sake of signings as the transfer window is open. ED002 seems to be the man in the know so would be able confirm my understanding is correct that the only player EFC had any agent/ club negotiations with prior to the window was for Lookman? I have seen the numerous posts about who we have been scouting but no mention of any actual negotiations starting.
{Ed002's Note - Yes, Everton worked very hard on getting Lookman signed. However, they also spoke with other clubs about players as well.}

I'm happy to wait for the right players the only thing that annoys me is the time it takes us to negotiate deals. reading between the lines I'm guessing we need to shift a few players first due to us having a full rosta. we have some 5-6 players who really need to leave.
