Moyes should have stayed with us. Too late now I know and with respect and what I have seen, would not swap him for RK. Nevertheless a case of overstretch.

in that vain we should of held on to Kendall (god rest his soul) and Harvey with all our might

Didn't say we should have held onto him, choice is up to the individual. What I said was he should have stayed with us, he chose not to. There is a difference.

He followed his head and not his heart. Sadly he was the only one who couldn't see he was going to get screwed.

I feel no pity for him at all not because he left but because he chose to slag us off afterwards. For that reason alone he deserves to find himself in the mess he is in. Sunderland will totally screw up his CV if they go down,

Hi Grumpy think you are right mate he did good for us but at the end he showed his true colours, hope he gets what he deserves cheers, GuernseyBlue

it's our past and a part not even worth remembering when we are taking huge steps forward

but sunderland fans must feel like we did in the last 90's-early 00's they need to find stay a signing like kevin Campbell to save them

How about this for a theory or off the grid thought. Our fortunes under Moyes lost direction once Irvine left to try Management and he (Moyes) brought Steve Round in. Irvine for me was always a 2IC, about the same as I view Martinez (a good coach that needs an overseer) , Steve Round a typical looks good on paper coach. Look how it turned out for all of them.
