Talking to some fellow Blues over the weekend and the subject of a new ground came in to the conversation.
One of the strands of the conversation turned to Prince Ruperts Tower and, it were at all possible, the feasibility of moving it from Everton Brow to become a main feature at the new ground.

Our opinion was pretty much divided 50/ 50 but I'd like to hear the opinion of the readers and posters on here.
So, and just for fun, should Prince Ruperts Tower stay in its historical home on Everton Brow or, if at all possible, move it very carefully to the new ground to take pride of place there?

{Ed025's Note - i would move it myself RIB, its not in a very good position to be of any use to the club and netherfield rd is basically derelict mate..

Definitely clean it up and move it to a footall environment may be to a road or footpath leading to the stadium . prince ruperts way? 😀

I like the sound of that Skylark. In fact I would make that the main route to the ground. Bit like old Wembley way use to be. And have Dixies statue overlooking the Mersey.

I'm for moving it as well would be a good focal point at the entrance to the new stadium and a bit of tradition to go with the new surroundings

I mentioned the same thing the other day. I'm not local (South Wales) but only a previous trip up a taxi driver took me passed and said he believes it was basically a storage room for the council now.
