So David James thinks Everton lured players in under false pretense of playing with lukaku. Now I would have thought some of those boys would love the idea of working with Rooney ( not that I'm his biggest fan) . I'm not a bitter fan but that does smack of bitterness from a former red. On the upside it implies that he thinks we would have had no chance getting those players otherwise. which in itself suggests he thinks they are decent. is there a little hint of jealousy?

Apparently David James thinks professional footballers and their agents are not capable of reading the news. To say Efc conned them by not saying Lukaku could be leaving, only stands up if it wasn't all over every news outlet that he was looking to move on, and that at least two teams were looking at signing him, which was definitely the case.

Unbelievable. more reds coming out of the woodwork with comments about our team, club and players. who's bitter. everyone you look in the press there's always a red passing comment on players that they are after and why they must go to lfc. right now all is quiet over the road so the jealousy starts again . jeez. amazing our signings can't or wouldn't get in their team . ha ha ha oh dear.

Every idiot in every village in Europe and beyond knew Lukaku was on the move this summer, for Yer man to allude to deception on Everton's part highlights only his misunderstanding, perception and understanding of a situation that seemed clear to anyone with half an ounce of wit. #redfacedexred.

It's not just James though getting on my nerves. How many comments have you heard or read from other teams fans (mostly liverpool) saying along the lines of "yeah they've spent a lot but we never wanted those players, they'd never get into our team in a million years". I know we've not signed superstars but they're certainly better than a lot of teams have. If Liverpool signed Klaasen they'd be quoting every youtube clip ever. They slate the hell out of Migs but think he's better than Pickford. Klaven, Lovren over Keane? I don't think so. Solanke is going to be World Class, best youngster ever. Hang on, better than Sandro? If it sounds familiar to any visiting pool fans here, there's no shame in admitting a team is doing good business! I can admit Coutinho is a great player and would get in our team, to say that none of our players at all would improve you is a tad disrespectful.
