Evryone is concentrating on the Sig transfer that very little seems to be said about what to me is 100% vital and that is a 20+ a season striker .
RK must have something in the pipe line but what is anyone's guess .
Without one WE WILL STRUGGLE with one it will still be difficult for the first month because while we have done brilliantly in the market so far the one we needed most of any was this 20+ man a season .
Pickford and Keane as well as Sandro great signings but a jigsaw looks nothing if not complete .
Yes I know I am another negative fan you keep going on about but with the horrendous start we have a settled side in now would have been perfect but I am just praying we get a centre forward in for what Everton have always been famous for .
I hope they not wasting any more time on Giroud he never had any interest in coming to us.

I don't think we will struggle. We don't need a 20 goal a season striker, we need the team to be better collectively at scoring. This point has been made over and over again. It was all about 1 guy last season so this year RK wants to share the goal scoring responsibilities throughout the team. That'll make it harder to defend against and more productive away from home.

How many strikers got 20+ in prem last season 3 I think and one of them was ours so who do you suggest.

I tried saying this a few days back. I understand why fans want sig at the club, he's a high quality player that will undoubtedly improve us, but a goal scorer is more important. There's really no point in controlling a game from midfield if we struggle to score. i'm very hopeful that Sandro will be a success and Calvert-Lewin may even step up this year and score a few, but if they dont, we have to wait til Jan to rectify the problem. I think its something we should focus on much more than trying to complete Sig.

As Truebluemetz79 states the only strikers consistently scoring 20+ over the last 3 season are Kane and Aguero and I can't see us putting a bid in for either of them. Sanchez is the next option but can't see that happening either. Wishful thinking trebor I am affriad.

Err didn't lukaku score 19 the season before and we finished 11th. It is not all about him and his goals. We have qualified for Europe enough times in the last 10 years without a 20 goal a season striker yet some of you think it is the holy grail.

Also I hate to say it but the stats don't lie Liverpool got top 4 and no one got near 20 prem goals for them.

I think some of you are missing the point, it's not necessarily saying we need a 20 goal a season striker, just a striker who will score a decent amount. How many did the rest of our players score last season? We just cannot allow a season where our highest scorer is on 6 goals. Its ok saying koeman wants to spread the goals out around the team but wanting it and it actually happening is another matter. We need a proven striker and anyone saying different is just being stubborn for the sake of arguing with posts on here.
