I hope to god we go in for welbeck i think he would be an ideal striker for us the way we play he is tall an fast should go all out for him if we end up with him i would be over the moon.

Well he is playing today for Arsenal so not sure if they will give him up.

Watching the Arsenal game and Welbeck is playing very well. He's fast, takes up good positions and his passing has been good so far. Exactly the type of center forward we need. Can't see any reason for Arsenal to release him, apart from maybe his injury history.

goals per game, 1 in 3/ 4, not good enough for a top striker, don't want him anywhere near our place.

I love Danny but he never performed consistently for United and has spent most of most time at Arsenal injured. He's not that young any more so not sure how much better he can get,
You guys have bought very well, adding a very good striker would make you real contenders: I'm not sure that's Welbeck.

We don't need a name we need a particular type of striker. Welbeck does not offer that. bive never been a big fan of welbeck, he's an awkard playerbin the way he plays as he doesn't seem to have all the asoects to be a great wing forward or cf. got talent but not the package and certainly not what we need in my opinion.
