If Koeman had got the striker he wanted, perhaps it could have been totally different, what do you reckon Blues?

I do agree Jonno it could very well be totally different. Can't help but think of the old saying though. If my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. Apologises for the rudeness if offence was taken. None intended.

Rk publicly stated on loads of occasions that he wanted a target man and a left sided defender. Credit to him he must have realised before the season started we had 2 very weak links in the spine of the team and i'm no way taking away from calvert Lewin who i think has been getting better every game. But both williams and jags are struggling.

I personally don't think Jags has been that bad, certainly wouldn't put his performances anywhere near the level of Williams'.

What would he have done differently with a target man and no width to provide him with?
The no striker is just an excuse and doesn't answer his critics of why he plays 2 defensive midfielder and 3 number 10's and no NATURAL widemen.
Hindsight is a funny thing and boi hoo you didn't get your target man so what, earn your extortionate salary and play to the strengths of the players at your disposal.
Sorry chaps can't defend arrogance, Newcastle didn't get the signings they needed and this is after coming up from the Championship, difference being they have a tactician in their dugout we have a clown.
