I'm all for giving him a crack and Everton showing due diligence on their next permanent choice. Although two managers in 16mths, we are not a sacking club usually. but in these two instances fully deserved.

We aren't going to attract any really big names until we get into the champs league a few times. The way forward is recruiting and training the best youngsters. Walsh is in place for that so all Unsworth needs to do is coach and pick the team. I am nailing my flag to the mast. #TeamRhino.

The only way we attracted Koeman was by offering him a massive salary and by letting him spend a huge amount (by our standards) to bring in his chosen players. It didn’t work.
Let’s see how the team react to Unsy during the next few matches. In the meantime, the club will no doubt be sounding out other candidates so the board have a choice for next manager.

irishblu, who do u want mate? who has the best fone book who can get us these signings? we don't need a phone book mate we need someone who the players we have will fight for someone who has sound tactics and a plan b c or d depending on how the games going. if u have watched any of the 23s u will know unsworth is a top manager and before I get the but it's only 23s tell me this would Jose mourinho be able to win the league if every time a player of his hit form they got loaned out? he did amazing last year and this year and has earned his shot.

yes right now I would rather unsworth than ancelotti. do u think Carlo gives two flying one's about everton? he would use us to get his next job mate where as rhino will bleed blue and give everything he can to get us competing at the highest level. half the people on here want our youth to play because they won the league last year and did well. Well why not give the man responsible for there success the chance to show us what he can do. if he fails fair enough but if he becomes the next ancelotti then brilliant either way I don't see the point of having a top manager already at the club but over looking him because his name is english.
