I have to say I'm truly saddened by some of tonight's posts. DU has been in post for 3 games! Chelsea, Leicester and Lyon. All good outfits. We're just coming out of a poor run of games under a manager who has stripped the confidence from the squad he's had. We have no proven striker and our senior players are in poor form. Slamming them further aides who?
You want the club to succeed as do we all who love the toffees but the slating and panic needs to stop people it's toxic. Turn up on Sunday and no matter what get behind the team. I played at a good level and when things are going great everyone's on a high when things go wrong things turn negatively very quickly. Football is fickle and negativity breeds negativity. Under the microscope no one will want the ball for fear of getting booed. Fans play such an integral part of how a team performs and as hard and painful as it is at the moment if we don't give DU and the lads our backing and a home atmosphere to give them some to play for it doesn't matter who comes in it will be a mission to get things going. Give DU some time to find a system that works. Has anyone thought he might have played without a striker tonight to preserve the ones we have for Sunday? What's more important a session for the defensive element of our game against a good outfit in a cup comp we could now do without or a potential injury to a forward we desperately need at home on Sunday in a game at home we need to take points from?
Think logically people and what would you do if in the same situation. Sunday matters so much more than tonight and the 4 prem games we have to follow.

Take your points but that’s five defeats on the spin. More worrying is little positives to take from them games. Not much in way of decent efforts on goal really. We look really poor. I was keen for rhino to have a go but to be honest he looks out of his depth at the moment tonme and the sooner we get someone in like Dyche the better as were unlikely to attract anyone else of a higher calibre.

At last a good positive post. Great post Ricky, let's get behind the lads on Sunday and make Goodison the bear pit it used to be.

Ricky the problem is we are not coming out of a poor run of games. We have been on a poor run of games since pre season, and it shows no sign of ending.

Ricky spot on. To me I could not give one toss about the Europa league, when we are in this predicament. Premier league survival is all I care about. We now have the Fa Cup and league to worry about now. All I care about is this club surviving in the Premier League. I cannot sleep at night because I fear us going down, but you supporters there must get behind the team as there is 28 games to go!

How can you question people being negative? We don't even look like scoring goals, we're on the worst run I can ever remember plus the only record we're on track to beat this season is Derby's points tally when they got relegated. I have not seen three teams worse than us in the league this year, and if there aren't three teams worse than you, you get relegated.

{Ed025's Note - its not easy to find positives windsor, at the moment the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off mate..

all good outfits, but we've been beaten convincingly we're EVERTON FC not bloody Swansea or stoke where we say, yeah but they're a good team aren't they!

{Ed025's Note - thats half the problem W this "we are everton" malarkey, we do not have a divine right to beat the lower ranked teams and to be honest those teams you mention are higher in the table because they are better than us mate..
