Hey all,
I imagine over the international break we will appoint a full time manager, and it seems almost inevitable that it'll be Allardyce. I'm not a fan at all after his England shame and was disgusted that he got another job so quick at Palace, but if he is to be our man then we need to stop the (justified) hate by pretty much everyone on here. We can't start a new era with such negativity otherwise confidence within the team will vanish immediately. let's give him a fighting chance to win us over.
I do admit though, i'm quite curious about how he will perform in the transfer market. If Moshiri decides to bankroll a new manager as a lot of the big guys would demand when taking the job, then who could we expect to see interest in? I say this remembering the Bolton signings that made me so envious. Okocha, Djorkaeff, Ivan Campo etc. How on earth did he tempt those guys to join? I wonder if he's a manager who will go all out for so called 'big name' signings, or keep the faith and bring in players he's worked with previously (i foresee Andros Townsend and Zaha rocking up at Goodison in January) .
Anyways, let's hope for a great game today that gives Unsworth a winning send off.

{Ed025's Note - i myself will have to tolerate him (if appointed) i suppose worcester, i love everton and want the best for them, but i wont be singing his praises or chanting his name anytime soon i can tell you, selling my soul to the devil is not really my bag mate and out of respect for other supporters i will try not to bad mouth the guy if we are doing ok, im afraid thats all i can promise at this time mate and if the worst happens then so be it..

We will win today 3-1 to stop the rot. Allardyce will not be appointed our next Manager so stop worrying about that. Our next manager needs to be one which we can all be proud of and support.

{Ed025's Note - i hope you right mike..

I have been a fan for a log time, (Vernon, Dunlop, Temple) first game 58/ 59, but now I am worried, we have dreamers here who think we will pay for a top manager? but we will end up with a fat sam or a moyes, same rubbish managers just move around.

Wow Stig sane season as me mate and we seem to be on the same wavelength.
I am often called negative on here but without sounding to clever several of my negative comments have proved correct SADLY inc my views on Koeman
Stig I would put it down not so much to negativity but experience and wisdom of our great club .

Dyche or Silva it will be.

BlueMike, I hope you are right. I have just choked on my pint, look at that team, where the hell is the width. Looks like Siguurdson out wide again. What is going on.

I’m liking the team selection. Schneiderlin dropped at last! Think I’m the only Evertonian that still wants Rhino as our manager on a permanent basis. Out of the names being mentioned Sean Dyche is the only other that interests me, the rest are laughable. The favourites surely a massive no! Moyes over Alladyce every day of the year . and some. Don’t want neither but it ain’t up to me. DU should be given at least another 3,4 games but that’s my opinion. If we win today I won’t be the only fan saying this either. COYB!

If Allerdyce is appointed I'm done after 66yrs. The thought of that greedy, arrogant gum chewing tosser stood on the touchline with an Everton badge on his chest is more than I can stomach. Each to his own opinion though.
