I have heard that Rafa has threatened to leave Newcastle if the offer to Mike Ashley of 300 M is turned down as he is expecting a big war chest in Jan and Aug
Perhaps it is a opportunity to become available?

I don't think he would turn us down and he certainly doesn't want 2 relegations on his CV. I think he knows the takeover isn't going to happen till after the window but he also knows if he doesn't strengthen they will probably go down.
