Allerdyce was the perfect choice for us at the time, but he will have done his job by May. Then off he goes for me, I will promise yas now I will give up my season ticket which I have had for 20 years. I'm only 27 myself I'm sure a lot of yas has held your longer.

No chance will I sign upto watch this shambles for another season. No creativity. Rely on moments of magic. Look lost going forward. Defensively brilliant can't take that away from Sam like but it's not the Everton way. Certainly not the school of science.

So thanks Sam for the job you have done to steady the ship but for me personally. If he is still in charge next season I won't be going the game. Which will hurt me a lot I have not missed a game home or away for years.

Everton the Gear.

Then to be fair and this is honestly with the utmost respect you may as well go across the park and support the other lot. My Dad and his Dad supported them, I broke with tradition (ha) and have supported Everton for 60 years and my son does to. They are my Team and always will be, no matter whether it is big Sam, Koeman, the numpty before him, it doesn't matter. Managers come and go.

No disrespect Jimbobchaddy but I admire your passion ducksflysouth.

They are my team, but I expect a lot better from them. And I didn't grow up in the 80s when we ruled the league and cups. I was 5 when we won the FA Cup so too young. I got my ticket in 97 an have had it since.

But what I'm watching isn't something I agree with. It's not something I associate with Everton football club. We are better than that and I have appreciated the job he has done.

But I'm not into this Big Sam philosophy.

Just my opinion. I don't get the "might aswel go support the other lot" comment.

{Ed025's Note - im hoping this is temporary jimbo, no one wants to see guff like this served up every week and its certainly not the everton way, we need to give sam a bit of time to forge his own team and see how it goes from there, he has got us in what is a relatively safe position so there is no excuse once he gets some new faces in why we cant start to play some expansive football, lets not throw our toys out the pram just yet mate..

Ed you are right and Jimbo. Sam Allergy has only been here half a dozen matches with a squad full of bad signings, injuries and kids. This has absolutely nothing to do with Sam Alleardyce. I remember Bolton signing Jay Jay Okotcha and Ivan Campo. Dean Holdsworth, Kevin Nolan, Pederson, Kevin Davies and many more. These were decent footballers. The garbage that Goodison Park is serving up now has very little to do with Allardyce. It has to do with a terrible transfer window. It has to do with a manager that signed too many players in one position and no-one in another position. It is about the previous manager before him who relied on one goalscorer and signed half a dozen bang average players. All Allardyce has done is come in. Watched one game. Understood that the squad was shot of confidence and was likely to get relegated if no drastic measures were taken. So took drastic measures and got some results. Believe me mate I wouldn't want to watch this long term. but I will suffer it for now whilst we plug all the holes, get rid of some ballast, get a new paint job and carry on sailing. Sinking does not sound a good alternative to me. COYB.

{Ed025's Note - great post degsy mate..

Spot on lad. Far better than my explanation/ comment. Jimbo as I said no disrespect intended and apologise if taken. What I meant was, you support your Team no matter what! That is my understanding of supporter loyalty. I can imagine how my Dad felt, when I gave him the metaphorical kick in the nads. Two weeks after my GrandSon walked out holding Jags hand (Everton V Young Boys) , I am driving down the road when he announced he was switching his support to that other lot. I still love him but it was a cloe run thing. LOL.

Sam Allergy (love it) , is keenly aware he is at the best club he’s been manager of. He will not want to blow this.

If he gets this right it will go along way to deflecting away the rank embarrassment he suffered with the England job.

If this is his last effort at management, which at his age it could well be, then he knows he can sign off with perhaps his best success in his long and colourful career.

It won’t be boring for much longer. I’d love to see what he can do with a decent budget and a couple of windows to spend it in.

Jimbo, with watching Everton for 27 seasons as a season ticket holder, have a look at Mike Walker, Walter smith, Martinez and Koeman, have a look at an unbalanced team shipping in 28 goals, then have a look at what Sam has had been left to work with, he has got the defence solid, without Baines or Coleman, he has been stuck with Calvert-Lewin as a loan striker, has got kids in Kenny, Holgate, Davies in the team, this is not Sams team, he gone flat out to ensure we get a striker early, the football is not pretty, but until he can balance the team and bring players in, and get injured players back, he has done a bloody good job, just be a little more patient.
