If the media rumours are to be believed Everton and Southampton are interested in bringing Walcott to their respective Clubs. My take for what it is worth, firstly Bolasie in my view when fully fit and with a couple of games under his belt is every bit as good if not better than Walcott. Secondly and probably more to the point, Walcott is not going to choose to come 'Upt North' presuming of course both Clubs meet Arsenals supposed valuation.

2 many variables.
Granted Walcot strikes me as the type to make the easy decision. (Going home to Southampton) but if it's for career he should pick us.
I agree on the wing Bolasie is his equal but Walcot knows where the net is and can play up top (though not in an Allardyce team)

At 29 and with the injuries he's had, pace can't be as fast as it was. Always a bit lightweight. I say move on.

Difference between the two and I know I go on about it. is goals. Bolasie = 13 goals in 149 top flight games since 2012. Wallcott = 69 goals in 290 games. Whilst I accept one has played for a more successful team, this is the picture I have throughout our squad as assembled over the last 4/ 5 seasons. Players who just do not score enough goals. just like the Everton team. Not enough goals.

Agreed Degsyp.
I'm sure Walcots goals ratio has only improved in the last 5 years.
He had a spell leading the line and Bolasie wouldn't ever be used as a 9 anywhere.
I'm sure I remember Walcot being ropey in 1 on 1s with the goalie and could only score wonder goals. I know it was a big deal and Arsene trained the sh9t out of him to be a better finisher.
Still think he knows England is over so he may as well go home.
