Think your right no point buying attacking players even tho much needed if conceding goals from the left back position every game! Can't bear to watch us sometimes knowing Martina is playing!

hasn't Garbutt been removed from the u23s maybe he will get a chance on Sat.

He’s looking at Garbutt in training and might bring Galloway back from loan to see if they can do a job at left back. If they aren’t up to it, then I’d expect someone else to be transferred in.
We’ve only 2 matches until the end of the transfer window (in 12 days) , so there’s time between those matches (on the 20th and 31st) to get this sorted.
Besides, we need to move players out. My understanding is that’s not because we have to sell before we can buy again, but rather that we need to keep the wage bill in line with financial regulations. We also need to reduce the squad size, as we clearly don’t need all those players.
I expect a major shakeup of the squad in the Summer and some more big spending - only this time with better regard to what we really need and the balance within the squad.

I agree with ed025 if a decent LB does become a available then we may go for him but it may be that our 1st choice is not currently available and we are not going to buy a second string player just to fill in for half a season. It looks like its not transfer fee related but more to do with squad size registration and keeping in line with FFP which can only be a prudent thing to do in the long term.

I have just checked on the official premiership site to see if Garbutt has been registered and his name isn't on there so it looks like we will have to put up with Martina unless we shift a few and bring a LB in.

Looks like there is not enough space for Garbutt so unless someone leaves he may not get a place anyway. Just shows RK didn't rate him.
