Hey Guys, I haven't posted on here for a while but if I could I would just like everyone's views on Cenk Tosun. I have just been on a social media site that reports he is our newest expensive flop, surely that is insanity when the kid has been here for 4 weeks. I haven't seen much football since Christmas so I just wanted to know what the Eds and fellow Evertonians thought.

I think Everton are destroying his confidence before he's had a chance. He seems like a good player but he needs game time. As does Klassen, as did Sandro, Lookmen etc. These players will only show their true ability with game time.

i honestly believe tosun is a bargain and will be our top scorer next season, he's no flop just comes down to the fact sam is playing 1 up top and right now you can't not play niasse as he fit the bill right now, he is pressing from the front making defenders make mistakes and scoring goals. that's not tosuns fault you just have to hope he takes his chance when he gets it.
i do think he is a top top striker and will be a very important player for us next season.

Like I said before. not only is the ink still wet on his contract. he hasn't even picked up the pen to sign it yet. Get real folks. He is probably learning needed shouts like, "Man on" before he is thrown in at the deep end in a relegation fight. Perhaps he doesn't yet know the names of his team mates? Mind you, the speed at which they are changing. neither do I!

Agree ed 02 he only just came and played 2 games equalling around 90 mins football it takes most players around 6 months to adapt. Just hope he given chance to adapt. Not like sandro klassen thrown straight into struggled both nearly went. Hopefully klassen gets chance.
