I feel I've had the breather i need. There has been a 'civil war' on this site of late. Things get said, arguments get made but when its over it should be all said and done. Any chance we can all draw a line under this, move forward and maybe collectively be more tolerant towards opinions and remember we shouldn't be arguing between ourselves when there's liverpool fans out there :) this is a great site and EVERYONE has good points even degsy and grumpy ;) . This has been a great site for years and we are only ruining it for each other. After all we might need each other after the next two games haha. Onwards and upwards blues.

{Ed002's Note - I think there is a balance. The Everton supporters care about the club, that is clear. They do suffer from instant degratification if there is a loss and suddenly the sights are on the manager, the owners etc. without any objective analysis. Ed025 is a calming voice to some extent but he has his views as well. If folks could sit back and be objective, maybe some of the friction could go. If Everton cannot bring in the coach they want in the long run, then do you wait a year or demand a knee jerk change. If you can't get the striker you want, do you wait, consider carefully or go and see if Paul Furlong will come out of retirement. There is a need to step back some times - although I appreciate that being from Merseyside there is a natural inclination to run away and take the hub caps with you.}

Agree2 Disagree1

Agree with your points ed002. Being a proud scouser your last point is in really poor taste, even if it's a tongue in cheek joke.

{Ed002's Note - Tongue in cheek? You wish darling.}

I may be in the minority or just thick skinned but what I have read over the last few months has been differing opinions, good banter, love and hate put down in words. I/ we do not agree with everything that has been written, but, we all love this site and therefore feel the need to reply or post, keep the momentum going.
I am assuming most on here are like me and when the site goes quiet I. e. the transfer windows closes, we yearn for posts, debates, and hope for someone to start a debate. The silence makes us thirsty for dialogue. We bottle it up. A bit like the awkward silence on a first date. Once it's broken we all clamber to be a part of the convo and put our point across regardless of what it is.
And that is why we need all the posters on here, abstaining isn't an option. Carry on regardless of whether your post is popular, factually correct or just a bit of fun. Don't take it too seriously.

Ed 02 bringing back the 80s there with a Thatcher shout. Nice.

27 Mar 2018 23:39:14
Not bad that Ed02, I would dig your Tim helmet out though if we lose the Goodison Derby, be incoming flak from all corners, enjoy the International break while you can.

It got tiring smit. And plus a lot of it wasnt debate or even banter. The point is i feel we should move on a bit and people even talked about not posting on certain things and others were getting fed up. Plus it was a reah out to those who i got into 'dispute' with. I got fed with it all.

Someone explain to me, how talk being from merseyside and running off with the hub caps is anything to do with football banter? Wrong.

{Ed025's Note - that for me was an off the cuff remark AGF, one of the endearing things about scousers is the ability to laugh at ourselves and that sets us apart from the rest, in this ever so correct PC world lets not be so precious that we cant give and take a bit of stick mate..

27 Mar 2018 22:58:04
Agreed poor taste then.

28 Mar 2018 08:50:48
Andygraysforehead come on pal it was a joke.

28 Mar 2018 09:54:06
Come on guys a joke from Ed002 is a rare and precious commodity in its self, let's not go over board about a bit of banter.

{Ed002's Note - It is simply a troll from another club.}

28 Mar 2018 10:15:45
Andygraysforehead I have to agree with the Eds and others it was a remark said in jest. Apart from that most cars theses days don't even have hub caps.

{Ed002's Note - Cetrtainly few on Merseyside do.}

28 Mar 2018 11:22:49
I knew somebody once who made a decent living from selling "used" hub caps. Thing is he took it too far and progressed onto the full car. Last I heard he was still having a bowl of porridge every morning at the tax payers expense.

28 Mar 2018 11:59:06
PC gone totally ridiculous if you can't take a joke about hub caps, any joke from Ed002 is like rocking horse poo.

28 Mar 2018 12:59:57
Hahaha ed 002 cracked me up there.

28 Mar 2018 13:01:35
shows how bad it's got when people get offended by being called a hub cap robber ha ha unless you are a hub cap robber and have taken offence to being caught oh well some people need to lighten up.

28 Mar 2018 16:43:24
You lot have obviously never heard the Ferrari scouse wheel changing joke?

28 Mar 2018 16:45:58
Have to admit I have a garage full of hub caps, mainly from Chelsea supporter's cars. Going cheap Ed002.

28 Mar 2018 20:01:40
When I drive in, I just give a £5 to the local Scally hub caps, wheels, everything there when I come back. Lazy gits don't bother washing and valeting though.
