Hey Ed 025 I see in the Sunday rags today, the Everton Board are to convene this week to discuss whether Big Sam goes or stays this summer if this is true surely the Board especially Mr Moshiri must take note of most of the fans and get rid and appoint a new manager, I personally would like to see Fonesca myself a young guy with plenty of ambition or even Wenger maybe if he would come to us, seems we have ties with him through our owner and also Usmanov, this could be crucial this summer as to what happens at Everton, what's your take on this mate cheers.

{Ed025's Note - until the meeting is over its all speculation GB, i would hope he will be ditched but im not certain he will, wenger is a manager i admire but i dont think he is the right fit for us personally and would like to see a progressive young manager given the gig mate..

I would not worry Ed25,the survey results will have been filtering through, hence the meeting this week, I know nothing surprises us at Everton any more, but even I cannot see Sam here next season on the back of those survey results, would not be surprised if he is gone before our final game, so have a nice cognac, stick the pogues fiesta song on and embrace the big broom about to descend on Goodison to make massive sweeping changes, the revolutions just around the corner. Audios Sam and Walsh, welcome Brands and hopefully Fonsesca.

{Ed025's Note - love it nev..

I will at Goodison tomorrow night, if Sam catches wind of the board meetingi, I fully expect him to play an attacking team, may even call Vlasic into the team along with a couple of others, just to make a statement as if to say we won, what’s the problem, with the likes of Merson and the other pundits, along with the press all up his-backside and slating the fans and the board.

Oops pressed submit too quickly there, he will pick Vlasic and might surprise us with Klassen, if we lose he says that’s why I did not select them, if we win he will say it was a matter of getting Everton safe, now I can pick these players for the remainder, win win for Sam.

What makes you think that, Ed?

{Ed025's Note - in my view hugo the game has moved on and the wengers of this world are a dying breed, he basically runs arsenal from top to bottom and that is very difficult these days even for someone of his ability, i think he would make a very good DOF for someone but arsenals recent decline is not a coincidence imo mate..

Sorry, Ed. Great answer about Wenger but I meant about Sam Allardyce not leaving. Should have made it clearer.

{Ed025's Note - oh right hugo, everyone thinks sam leaving is set in stone and i know hes a big head but he seems to think hes staying, some will say he has achieved his brief and we can kick on from here, god i hope not but after nigh on 60 yrs of supporting this club nothing would surprise me mate..

Good post bignev will be waiting anxiously for the team sheet tmw night to see what way Sam goes, this meeting I think may change how he sets his team up but it should be too little too late.
I just hope the board see sense and say he goes at the end of the season I think if they came out and said he was staying the fans would be hostile and it's not what we want for our football club.

I agree about many being presumptive about SA's departure. Me included. We'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully FM has learnt from last Summer!

{Ed025's Note - the meeting should be interesting hugo..

{Ed025's Note - very much so mate..
