While David Moyes certainly wouldn't be my first choice as our new manager, I feel some Blues here have short memories . We aren't the club now that we were in 2002 when Moyes joined our great club . Moyes and Kenwright transformed us from perennial relegation candidates to top six and even a 4th place . All that was done on a shoestring . Kenwright provided stability and gave complete control to Moyes, and unlike previous chairmen didn't take any cash out of the club . The work done by both made Everton attractive to FM to come in and invest as heavily as he has . Sadly as this season has shown just throwing cash around isn't enough . Like Farhad I am looking forward not back, but let's give them both the credit they deserve .

I can not ever see why we have slagged that man off, he left to go man Utd, who wouldn't, he made us a top team who could compete against any team, and all that with hardly any money, we had managers who couldn't do anything and he came along and he was in my opinion our savour, he made us a team that people liked, he made us the people's team, he found good players and honestly believe if we had a lukaku when we had our best years we would of been right up there, he just couldn't find that striker.

{Ed025's Note - its the way he left simon, still taking our money when having agreed to join united and coming back for our players saying that they need to move to a bigger club and all that, it showed a total lack of respect and i could not wait to get rid of the git to be honest mate..
