Funny i was thinking the exact same thing, his tactics are as negative and the only difference is the pool of players at his disposal. Not once in the final did you see United set up to attack, just set up not to concede, sounds familiar doesn't it. Lukaku has scored less goals at United also, does that highlight the fact that chances are few and far between. They have pacey players that can hurt teams in Rashford, Lingaard, Sanchez and Lukaku but the reins are too tight.

"Negative tactics" are very much a part of football. I have no problem with a team changing it's play for an opponent deemed far better. Why not? Athletico do it, Chelsea do it, Real have been doing it for ages Man Utd do it. And when it works the coach is held up as some sort of genius.

So Chelsea are better than Utd and that's why he played negative tactics? Well I'm sure the team finishing 2nd in the league would be deemed better than the team finishing 5th? Chelsea haven't been exactly pulling up trees lately and were probably there for the taking if Utd actually attacked them. Would Mourinho be a success with a limited budget and a squad that doesn't already have class players in it? By all means my opinion was based on yesterdays tactics and that was what we were talking about, not BS and not jealous just saying it how I seen it.
